I just made an agent on my computer pay for an image capture and processing session on a connected hardware device that was authorized to provide this capability by another agent on another device. I accomplished all of this without any internet connections between these devices.
The possibilities this opens up are endless, autonomous vehicles can coordinate with drones for route guidance, connect to sensors to receive weather updates, or coordinate with each other to exchange skills in a swarm. Productivity robots can talk to personal assistants to understand user preferences, or receive outage data from field technicians to perform repairs, all without the need for an active internet connection or expensive backhaul solutions.
Useful intelligence has moved onto devices; autonomous systems are expanding from isolated machines into fleets; and connectivity continues to fragment across Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, cellular, satellite, and specialized radios. Those networks extend reach, but none supplies the shared application contract required to decide who may act, what capability is available, which route should carry the request, how state converges after disconnection, and what evidence proves completion.
Offline Protocol packages the missing contract as one integrated stack and abstracts multiple transports with automatic failover; OfflineID provides device-owned identity that peers can verify locally; Messaging Layer Security protects sessions; serverless discovery lets a device advertise, find, and invoke a capability without DNS or a cloud directory; reliable delivery adds acknowledgment, retry, deduplication, retention, and replay; and the shipped CRDT data layer synchronizes application state through compact deltas and deterministically merges concurrent offline edits.
Our protocol has reached 350,000+ cumulative deployed device instances, with 11,500+ network clusters active in the trailing 30 days, and 12,000+ SDK package installs. Within a month of starting our commercial motion, we've already signed 4 LOIs, 2 paid pilots, 6 more in technical scoping, and have several enterprise level distribution partnerships in negotiations.
I have historically been too quiet and not outspoken enough about our work, a VC recently told me I am too humble about our trajectory and technology, and so for once I want to really share how confident I feel about the progress we're making and the brand new paradigm of machine coordination our technology opens up.
This is a good opportunity to announce IntelligenceMesh by Offline Protocol.
Our stealth offline AI product that lets you install local models to run offline, train your own models with others without internet, build specialized personas for assistance, provides emergency resources tailored to your location, connects you in emergencies to other nearby users over mesh, and a whole lot more coming.
For those who bought our sold out hardware run, this is also where you manage companion devices and inference partners.
IntelligenceMesh is our way to open up an offline network into the endless possibilities of frontier innovation, and it’s FREE forever!
“Thank you, friends!
Proud to launch this special song on the birthday of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi Ji.
Created for #SevaSankalpAbhiyan, the song captures Delhi’s youth, the changing face of education and their warmth and affection for Modi Ji.
Kudos to all the young stars for bringing this youthful composition to life.”

@mizanxali Its mostly sponsor commitment. Havent checked the current sponsor but OKX being a sponsor in McLaren had their current drivers every year on a panel at token. I saw Daniel ricciardo and lando norris couple years ago on panel there
This government is so incompetent that instead of addressing questions, it keeps trying to silence the voices raising them.
@ila_kazmi’s Instagram account has now been withheld in India following a legal request, after she posted a Story about Delhi Police’s use of facial recognition during the CJP project. Her earlier Reel on the same issue had already been restricted.
Requesting support from @internetfreedom, @SFLCin, @Cockroachisback and everyone working on digital rights and press freedom in India.
Questioning surveillance should not result in silencing journalists. Please amplify.
‼️Urgent ‼️
My Instagram account @ilareports has been withheld across India following a “legal request.”
Some context: I had earlier published a Reel as part of my reporting during @Cockroachisback protest on Delhi Police’s use of #facialrecognition technology. That Reel was subsequently restricted in India.
Recently, I posted a new Instagram Story about the same issue. Following that, my entire account has now become unavailable in India.
Instagram says: “This is because we complied with a legal request to restrict this content.”
I have not been informed who made the legal request, what legal order it is based on, or why the restriction now applies to my entire account rather than a specific piece of content.
I am seeking transparency from @Meta and @instagram and legal assistance to understand the basis of this restriction and the process for challenging it.
Requesting support and guidance from @internetfreedom, @SFLCin, @Cockroachisback and other digital-rights, media-law and press-freedom organisations/lawyers in India.
Reporting on surveillance and the use of facial recognition by public authorities is a matter of public interest.
Journalists should be able to report on these issues, and at the very least, be told the legal basis when their work or accounts are restricted.
Please amplify.

Personal Update: Joined @OfflineProtocol as the first commercial hire. We're so back!
What this means and what I'll be doing 🧵
Most software running physical operations has a problem it does not like to admit: when the route to the cloud disappears, the workflow stops. Two devices a meter apart can still depend on a distant data center to communicate; in a basement, tunnel, remote site, or congested network, the entire operation can fail.
Offline Protocol is the coordination layer for physical systems. It allows applications and devices to authenticate, exchange data, coordinate work, and synchronize state across whatever path is available: a nearby peer, a local mesh, a gateway, or the cloud. The customer’s existing cloud remains the system of record; operations can continue locally and reconcile when connectivity returns.
I’ll be building the commercial engine, starting with field operations. Our approach is proof-led: give us one important workflow that breaks when connectivity does, and we will work with your team to turn it into a scoped technical prototype within 14 days, then measure whether it actually improves continuity, delivery, recovery, and backhaul usage.
If your field teams depend on software that assumes a connection they do not always have, my DMs are open.
Excited to be building this with @sxtvik and the team!
