Went to @dintaifungusa at @UVillage Sunday for a @Postmates pickup. Got "Ready for pickup" notice at 5:30. Arrived 5:45 and order wasn't up. Apparently neither was anyone else's. Careful of your crowd management UVillage! That felt really dangerous. #COVID19#SocialDistancing
The Covid-19 address completely missed the fear & panic that US *citizens* with neighbors & family *dying* are feeling. Worse, it directed attention to the wrong thing. If you aren't gonna help, please just #shutthefuckuptrump and get out of the way so people can save lives. thx.
@britmarling Have you ever read "The Body Keeps the Score" by Bessel van der Kolk? I'm reading it now right as I'm watching OA II. I wonder if you'd find it interesting.
Election day is tomorrow! Install https://t.co/AuAKCXuW8C and nudge some friends to go out and vote! Poking friends is by FAR the most efficient way to Get Out The Vote now, and getting out the vote is by far the most effective thing to do! #VoteWithMe
@jimmykimmel The best thing about this app is you get to decide when/how to use the _already public_ info. Usually this data is just used to spam folks. VoteWithMe shows you the view that all the campaigns have and returns the power back to you. Use it to encourage people who are receptive.
@DCSportNut @jimmykimmel@Dameshek Right, this is transparency, the exact opposite of a security threat. What the app does is show us just how much data all the campaigns (and others) have on us. It then gives us control of how to use it. Shaming or not is your purely your choice. (hint: don't shame people)
Wanna help 2018? Best thing to do now is get people to vote and best way to do that is poking people you know in swing districts. It's apparently 20x more effective than phone-banks. How do you find friends in swing districts? Install #VoteWithMe. It's trustable (and kinda fun).
And now I'm super confused. The phone made reservation doesn't show up on my @Budget online account, I didn't get an email, and I never got a conf code. I went back to the website and made a reservation (not prepaid) for $352. A *fourth* total. Hope I didn't double book?
Feeling cheated. Last minute car booking. @Budget website had rate of $309.43, but rejected multiple payments. Told me to call. On phone, super polite agent said $346 prepaid was best rate, but payments still failed. Ended with $383 reservation at counter. Consistency plz? :(
A screed about 2018.
tl;dr: This is the rematch and we cannot afford to stay emotionally disengaged. Right now they need money. Later they'll need volunteers. Find a way to give. https://t.co/AorXlWeYAU
Oh, and I made a crappy site: https://t.co/10FoJu5BQS
Heck yeah! Go Anne! I fought hard initially against form languages. Seeing y'all use data to (correctly) reverse that makes me super happy. https://t.co/XjjZMhNxN2
