(1/5) Out today in @Nature! We all know pediatric growth charts for height and weight, but what about the brain's wiring?
Excited to share our new work establishing comprehensive lifespan reference charts for human brain white matter pathways.

We see our home planet as a whole, lit up in spectacular blues and browns. A green aurora even lights up the atmosphere. That's us, together, watching as our astronauts make their journey to the Moon.
Glad I finished my PhD before the LLM era.
A PhD done with heavy LLM reliance risks becoming like learning to drive in a self-driving car — you arrive, but never really learn how to control the machine.
At that point, what exactly are you training: a researcher, or a prompt operator?
Everyone's excited about Karpathy's autoresearch that automates the experiment loop.
We automated the whole damn thing. 🦞
Meet AutoResearchClaw: one message in, full conference paper out. Real experiments. Real citations. Real code. No human in the loop.
One message in → full paper out. Here's what happens in between:
📚 Raids arXiv & Semantic Scholar, digests 50+ papers in minutes
🥊 Three AI agents FIGHT over the best hypothesis (one swings big, one sanity-checks, one tries to kill every idea)
💻 Writes experiment code from scratch, adapts to your hardware
💥 Code crashes at 3am? It reads the stack trace, rewrites the fix, keeps going
🔄 Results weak? It pivots to entirely new hypotheses and starts over
📝 Drafts a full paper with citations, every single one verified against live databases
No babysitting. No Slack messages. No "hey can you re-run this."
Karpathy built the experiment loop. We built the whole lab.
Chat an idea. Get a paper. 🦞

New paper from collaborator (and past lab-mate) @sam_remedios#SPIE_JMI Introducing ECLARE: a self-supervised anisotropic resolution enhancement. I've used in with beautiful results on all sorts of contrasts brain/non-brain! https://t.co/uXkwJYIGTB
Exercise improves brain health, but can it also delay brain aging? In a randomized controlled trial, we show that moderate- and heavy-resistance training significantly reduced accelerated aging in brain clocks (estimated with fMRI). The effect is global and distributed, not confined to single brain hubs. Simple, scalable interventions can meaningfully shape brain clock trajectories in healthy aging. Move the body to slow the brain’s tick-tock. Congrats @rglezgz and the full team: Naiara Demnitz, Carlos Coronel, @TheilGates Michael Kjaer, @HSiebner & Carl-Johan Boraxbekk. #LISA team @GBHI_Fellows Paper: https://t.co/xQZAa4b3Pi

Are connectome-based network mapping methods and the >200 papers that have used it invalid?
New paper out in @NatureNeuro says YES. https://t.co/U0OLZUSJWl
I have concerns about this new paper's methods and conclusions, but am biased. What do others think?
