🌧️ Monsoon Ready, Rain or Shine!

Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister Shri Eknath Shinde chaired a high-level review meeting to assess the preparedness of various agencies ahead of the monsoon season and ensure coordinated action for effective disaster management and public safety.

CIDCO’s Vice Chairman & Managing Director, Shri Vijay Singhal, presented the comprehensive measures undertaken by CIDCO to ensure efficient stormwater management, uninterrupted civic services, preventive maintenance of critical infrastructure and prompt emergency response during the monsoon. Chief Vigilance Officer, Shri Suresh Mengade, and Chief Engineer (NM), Shri Prabhakar Phulari, were also present at the meeting.

Representatives from various Municipal Corporations, BMC, NDRF, Railways and other key agencies participated in the review, reaffirming a collaborative approach towards monsoon preparedness. Discussions focused on inter-agency coordination, flood mitigation measures, emergency response mechanisms and ensuring the smooth functioning of essential services during periods of heavy rainfall.

Citizen safety remains CIDCO’s foremost priority. Through proactive planning, continuous monitoring and close coordination with all concerned agencies, CIDCO is committed to ensuring a safe, resilient and well-prepared urban environment throughout the monsoon season.

🌧️ पावसाळ्यासाठी सज्ज, नागरिकांच्या सुरक्षेसाठी कटिबद्ध!

मा. उपमुख्यमंत्री श्री. एकनाथ शिंदे यांच्या अध्यक्षतेखाली आगामी पावसाळ्याच्या पार्श्वभूमीवर विविध यंत्रणांच्या तयारीचा आढावा घेण्यासाठी उच्चस्तरीय बैठक आयोजित करण्यात आली. आपत्ती व्यवस्थापन, पूरनियंत्रण आणि नागरिकांच्या सुरक्षिततेच्या दृष्टीने आवश्यक उपाययोजनांचा यावेळी सविस्तर आढावा घेण्यात आला.

सिडकोचे उपाध्यक्ष तथा व्यवस्थापकीय संचालक श्री. विजय सिंघल यांनी सिडकोकडून करण्यात आलेल्या पावसाळापूर्व तयारी, जलनिस्सारण व्यवस्था, महत्त्वाच्या पायाभूत सुविधांची देखभाल आणि आपत्कालीन प्रतिसाद यंत्रणेबाबत सविस्तर माहिती सादर केली. या बैठकीस सिडकोचे मुख्य दक्षता अधिकारी श्री. सुरेश मेंगडे तसेच मुख्य अभियंता (नवी मुंबई) श्री. प्रभाकर फुलारी उपस्थित होते.

बैठकीस विविध महानगरपालिका, बृहन्मुंबई महानगरपालिका (BMC), एनडीआरएफ, रेल्वे आणि इतर संबंधित यंत्रणांचे अधिकारी सहभागी झाले. यावेळी विविध यंत्रणांमधील समन्वय, पूरस्थिती नियंत्रण, आपत्कालीन प्रतिसाद व्यवस्था तसेच मुसळधार पावसाच्या काळात अत्यावश्यक सेवांचे सुरळीत संचालन याबाबत चर्चा करण्यात आली.

नागरिकांची सुरक्षा ही सिडकोची सर्वोच्च प्राथमिकता आहे. पावसाळ्यात कोणतीही आपत्कालीन परिस्थिती उद्भवल्यास तिचा प्रभावीपणे सामना करण्यासाठी सिडकोने सर्व आवश्यक पूर्वतयारी पूर्ण केली असून संबंधित यंत्रणांशी सातत्यपूर्ण समन्वय राखत सुरक्षित, सक्षम आणि सज्ज पावसाळ्यासाठी सिडको कटिबद्ध आहे.
