@CopsAgainst does any one know whether you can still retire at your natural 30 year point, draw on 1987 benefits and then see the CARE contribution part at 67? Conflicting info !

@CopsAgainst the FBU negotiated that their members in/ dropped into the 2015 scheme can still retire at 50 years old with over 25 years. Does anyone know whether the police have that option??

@Pcmjm @CopsAgainst @LeighDayEmploy Also many may not be able to draw their pension at the 30 year point if they drop into CAREearly, unless they make a concession, otherwise the first access point may at 55 years old!

@CopsAgainst Personal circumstances, great for me but my wife has TP until late 2021 or did have, you mentioned sometime ago that you thought we’d get uplifted until 2022 when the last on TP went ?

@fbunational @theresa_may @GlindonMary What do you foresee happening to members with TP who are due to retire in less than 4 years? Surely they lose out once TP removed and can’t go as planed !

@Jrs70uk @AFOcop @CopsAgainst @NickHurdUK I’m amazed by the amount of officers at work who don’t understand the challenge, many think they will get their 87 pension back in full and retire after 30 years, sadly I doubt this will be the case, uplift, compensation and then drop into Care retiring at 55/60

@CopsAgainst @fbunational My wife has protection until late 2021, i have none!! She has financially planned to retire in 2022 but this may all be up in the air. Did you mention legitimate expectation ?
