Survivors of Operation Python Dance II Speak Out.

During Operation Python Dance II carried out by a heavily-armed battalion of the Nigerian army with air cover in Umuahia, Abia State, some unarmed members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) reportedly managed to escape the military operation and survive with serious injuries .

According to their accounts, they witnessed fellow members being shot and killed during the confrontation by the invading Nigerian army. They described the fear and chaos surrounding the military operation and the desperate attempts by unarmed individuals to escape to safety.

Their testimonies provide another perspective on the events surrounding Operation Python Dance II and the human cost reported by those who were present.
