What are you thoughts on competitors popping up like Superpower and Rythm Health? They are grabbing so much market from dtc blood tests. The blood tests seem like the gateway to these types of health companies. Once you use one you get locked into using that same provider forever because that is where the data is stored. I have not met a single person using HIMS for blood testing.
@cm___1333@Fibonacci_TA This is so true. Every person i know that works out is on peptides. Every girl is on a GLP-1. The grey market in the US is insane. I’m sure people would rather buy from a trusted source like HIMS if regulations lighten. I’m bullish.
Agreed 100%. it’s easy to vibe-code simple software these days so yes the barrier for basic apps has dropped.
But the software that actually moves the needle- the insanely complex, scalable, mission-critical systems that power entire industries - still requires elite engineering talent. And the best software engineers, by a wide margin, work at the biggest tech companies.
That concentration of top talent, combined with the switching costs, data moats, and distribution scale those companies already have, is exactly why the durable software giants remain durable.
Today, we took long-overdue action to restore science, accountability, and the rule of law.
In September 2023, the Biden FDA pushed a number of peptides into Category 2 — “Bulk Drug Substances that Raise Significant Safety Risks” — driving a dangerous black market that puts Americans at risk.
Now, after nominators withdrew 12 peptides, the FDA will remove them from Category 2 and will bring them to PCAC at its next two meetings, beginning in July—where independent experts will rigorously evaluate each substance on its scientific merits using full clinical, pharmacological, and safety evidence.
• BPC-157
• Thymosin beta-4 fragment (LKKTETQ)
• Epitalon
• GHK-Cu (injectable)
• MOTS-c
• DSIP (Emideltide)
• Dihexa Acetate
• Ibutamoren Mesylate
• Melanotan II
• KPV
• Semax (heptapeptide)
• Cathelicidin LL-37
This action begins to restore regulated access and will immediately begin shifting demand away from the black market.
We will follow the science, enforce the law, and deliver the clarity patients, providers, and pharmacies deserve.
replaced our ATS in 4 months of vibe coding. legacy ATS software is so cooked.
not going to lie there was a moment there where i thought SAAS was dead
but the more i build the more i realize — its not dying. it's evolving faster than anyone is ready for.
the best engineers with AI behind them are going to be 100x more effective now and are going to be able to create a new class of software that is so world class we cant even comprehend. no doubt there will be autonomous recruiting software that sources, outreaches, takes calls, and places candidates without a human in the loop.
