FYI, they have absolutely no concern for the long term sustainability of college athletics outside of their conferences. Actions speak much louder than this empty statement
@_MaroonKoolAid@yea_itsme0@On3 I absolutely would have been accepted if I applied but never have the slighting inclination to do so. Did apply there for vet school but the interview process was a joke so went elsewhere.
@_MaroonKoolAid@yea_itsme0@On3 How dare Tech offer higher education to the broader public. What a trash university. Only the elite should have access to education
@Firstand16_Pod The last part makes no sense. It would have been the worst thing in the history of the world if he was allowed to play college football but no concerns with nfl?
@ew2x4@GamblinGauchos@GilLopez3 Lmao no they wouldn’t have. If his gambling was such a big integrity concern as people were claiming (spoiler, it wasn’t), people would have still been clutching their pearls. He never actually played in a game he bet on and people are still losing their minds about it
Yes this is a new low. Sandusky, Nassar, Baylor scandal, and numerous other cheating scandals. Sorsby was definitely a dumbass betting on his own team but let’s be serious. NCAA is an obsolete org at this point and will likely cease to exist in the near future
"I view this as a new low. This rule, in particular, is an unbreakable one that has been a part of sports for more than 60 years."
@NCAA President @CharlieBakerMA reacts to the Brendan Sorsby ruling on Amber & Ian
@THE_REAL_CH3@flatland_sports Man yall really are deranged. “One of the gravest sins” gtfo with that 😂 Literally nobody was affected by his bets except himself and you’re acting like he murdered somebody in cold blood. You can be against something and not be so ridiculously performative
• 9000 different bets
• $90,000 wagered
• Betting on games he suited up for
• Willfully ignoring classes and meetings from 3 different institutions about the one cardinal sin in sports
But hey, find a local judge and convince him the kid will be really sad if he doesn’t get to play and none of that matters does it?
What a joke.
@TexasAuburnFan@RedRaiderGator He was basically attempting to discredit any success that Tech may have this year by stating he would go undefeated with his 2s and 3s (which is absolutely wrong)
@SSN_TAMU@HubCityTTU Because Sark ran his mouth about Tech very recently in an attempt to discredit any success they will have this season. Pretty obvious reason that doesn’t take much common sense
