@GarageRepairOH@RaymondBoettch5@voipms This is what they were waiting for. Fix nothing, and wait for the attack to end. The 'new servers' were certainly not working during the attack Friday
@KenMoscoe@RaymondBoettch5@voipms Possibly some of that. However having an option to get your numbers away in 6hours after putting up with a week of no service... I personally tried to explain to anyone who thought it was going to take days, or anyone who thought they were getting rejected. Last of mine port mon.
@voipms If you've made nothing else clear, it is that we cannot trust your suggestions. You were still placing all forwarded calls on a dead server 10 hours into today's outage.
@freebs09536010@GalaxyITMSP@voipms@VOIP Should have ported to someone using https://t.co/kWvdcyZaD3 such as Telnyx. I just finished up the last numbers i left behind. About an hour ago i submitted a few from 1 account and it will finish Monday. This one i just submitted 5 minutes ago is still processing.
@GalaxyITMSP@voipms Sounds like you were using the pbx features. We always had onsite pbx's. This way even with internet outages, internal calls were good.
@BizcomTelecom @voipms no. it doesn't work that way. In order to stop this you need to be able to do several things. A have a bandwidth pipe bigger than the attacker. B have a firewall/server which can handle more traffic than the attacker. Last i heard this was 100gbps+ attack.
@aboyzz18@someguynamed2@voipms i dont think that's quite correct. They just choose the pop the rest of your accounts are on. I just tried to do one that had a bunch of other numbers we already ported, and they removed the working pop and replaced it with one that has been down all day
@PegasusRPG@DanDaManGAMEZ@voipms incorrect! The 'web interface forwarding' is simply a shortcut to the original non functioning garbage. You still need to be on a pop that is working.
@brentcausey@voipms account number & all the information copied and pasted directly from the "Customer Information" screen. Dont try to remember it, just copy it from there.
@brentcausey@voipms As poor of a job https://t.co/3mOl8KL1Ok has done, out of the literal 100's of ports i've done, 0 have been denied. Are you sure your filling out the paperwork properly? Use Telynx to get them moved fast, then move them to where ever you'd like. You will need your
@voipms If you were putting in effort you'd realize not only have we already DM'd but you still haven't responded to my DM from 3 days ago. 4 Days on email and going on 14 hours for chat.
