Japan's snow season is turning historic.
Aomori has now accumulated 72 inches of snow. This is closing in on the city's all-time record of 82.3 inches set in 1945 (in books dating back to the late 1800s).
Snow walls up to 6 feet are lining streets, overwhelming clearing efforts and restricting access to homes. While in the wider Aomori prefecture, snow depth in some remote spots has exceeded 15 feet.
Nationwide, the conditions have turned deadly. Since January 20th, at least 30 people have died across Japan in snow-related incidents.
With snow loads still rising, Japan's military has been deployed to assist.
@danpompei It's not in Kevin's style, but he needs to get out on a major media campaign to explain this all to the public and put pressure on Springfield to prioritize this in 2026. The public does not understand well and assume the Bears are asking for private money to build. Lay it out
@scott_pianowski One of the first that came to mind of recent vintage was Davante Adams to NYJ to rejoin Rodgers. From memory alone, that reunion delivered mixed results.
@MattWaldman Matt, this is the type of content I sub for with TFG. Excellent work-up as usual. Always learn so much from you. This should be free for all to see to better understand how a young QB develops and how much coaching matters. Keep up the great work bud π
