Takes more work up front to set up and not as big of an infrastructure as Wordpress but totally customizable to your needs and super easy for non technical folks to work with once set up.
@ryanogs Ha - yeah that’s fair. Point is that there’s not a direct cost per visitor like you see in the PPC space. Definitely recognize there is resource cost in producing content, link building, developing a brand, etc.
@Kevin_Indig That’s not to downplay that the circumstances could be and have been super difficult, most of which are outside of our control, but people can be amazing in their ability to respond/get creative/come together in tough times.
@c_gro Thanks for sharing this. Agreed on it taking a lot of time to build something new. That’s why I like buy vs. build as far as side projects go. The approach you took with the Tiny House blog is a perfect example.

@DylanSEO_ Have you ever tried posting as a journalist/publisher as a means of generating links (i.e., post a request for comment, someone responds, you mention them in your article, and they link to you)? I’ve heard case studies of folks doing this and curious your experience with it?
