@reprinted3D@lost_in_tech Odd, I thought those trenches on the sides of the XL *were* handles... Not that it's intended for one person to lift (but we all do it when alone I imagine).
@comingconflict@IntCyberDigest@GamersNexus Did they fix it with a recall for all affected units? Because if not if it's "fixed for customers moving forward" there would still be many, many printers out there with this issue.
@MongeMkt@EricLDaugh Officers don't have the "right" to shoot someone just because they are told to stop and don't. Imagine if that were the law. A cop tells you to stop but you're wearing headphones- so you're shot in the back of the head. They have to be protecting themselves or others from harm.
@reicadencell@SIGKITTEN@josefprusa Probably thinking the MK4 and CORE One were huge successes, and this is more of that. I don't think *anyone* thought they were suddenly going to drop to CCP subsidized printer prices, stop paying their employees, and put in faulty toolboards that burn holes in themselves.
@smartroad78@Prusa3D Makes sense the newer less mature platform has more updates to be had. This one literally can't work on the MK4S because it doesn't have LED lights shining on the belts.
@MarkWheadon@josefprusa@PrusaSlicer They're trying to balance VFAs though. They must just be less visible at 200 mm/s. They note that Structural (with the lowest perimeter speeds) will still have the most visible VFA. Also I bet "surface quality" is like "strength"- multiple definitions.
@MoistTrousers@josefprusa Probably because all the extra space is near the door. Funny, I don't even think about the bar anymore, you just reminded me it was even there. CORE One side windows ftw?
@Scottleloup@josefprusa Possibly. It's worth noting that a lot of the extra space in the CORE One is at the front near the door. The CORE does have clear side and top panels though.
@trahan98745@ILA_NewsX@elonmusk Democrats were the conservative party during slavery & a long time after. Republicans were the liberals. Hell in the beginning of the US, Democrats and Republicans were the *same* party. Conclusion: The name of the party has nothing to do with the platform over long time periods.
@Spector719033@UncleJessy4Real@BambulabGlobal@3dprintingnerd That's really not all you need to know. You make it sound as if you could load in a unique roll of filament, drag in a 350 wide STL and print it the same as on a K2 Plus or Prusa XL. Better off designing for 325- Bambulab literally says 325 is the single nozzle X.
@Spector719033@UncleJessy4Real@BambulabGlobal@3dprintingnerd But is it a "full 350" if the Y axis is 320 and the Z axis is 325? And to do 350 on the X axis you'd need the same filament (assuming a single color print) installed in both heads. Not to say 325^3 is bad, it's just not 350.
@theRussPowers @elonmusk@Tesla Let me guess, you're also "not buying" Tesla recalling most of them over the panels falling off? https://t.co/DWtebBLzwT
@Targeeks@Prusa3D Even though it will obviously support their a multicolor unit, it's strange that you think single color/material printing is no longer done. Do you have a rainbow of colors of ABS, ASA, polycarbonate, nylon, TPU, etc? I bet you don't.
@josefprusa The CORE One seems to have an extra ~20 mm of Y in reserve, provided your build sheet is longer. Any chance of that being a "future unlock"?
