and honestly i still dont understand why

so writing this in public, not to complain, but because i think anthropic would want to know who they are turning away
i am deshmukh, solo founder of kin, a video calling app. delaware c corp since 2022, bootstrapped, no outside money. every document they asked for we sent, both times. we qualify, and still a no, twice
and here is the thing. kin is built almost entirely with claude code. i am one person and i run many claude code sessions side by side every single day. since august that is more than 2,800 commits and well over a hundred releases. mac, android, and now iphone and ipad in app store review. there is no team behind me. claude code is my co-founder, i literally wrote that on my applications

and what we built with it is not a todo app. our own voice model runs on the device's AI chip and makes every voice studio clean in real time, in our tests it beat apple's own noise removal by about 2x. calls go straight between the two devices with post quantum end to end encryption, our server cant read a single call. the goal is under 250 ms from anywhere to anywhere on earth, even on the worst networks

all of this on my own money. i pay for claude code out of my own pocket every month, so credits are not a nice to have for us, they decide how many hours a day i can keep building

i think this is the gap. programs like this mostly open the door after a VC has already said yes. but the founders who need it the most are the ones nobody has funded yet, the ones already paying for claude themselves and shipping with it every day. if you are building a startup program for the claude code era, the solo founder with sessions open at 3am should be the first one in, not the last

so one direct ask
@AnthropicAI @claudeai please give our application a real second look, and open the program to bootstrapped founders who can show what they have shipped, not only who has funded them
