I've been working on something similar. I love the flexibility of @SpacefastHQ , so I'll probably test my family photo app concept with this headless WordPress approach.
I bought a camera last week and now https://t.co/iR48LN3ews is my photo album! π·
Every @SpacefastHQ space is a @WordPress site. Grok @Bot uploads photos from my camera or iPhone! π€―
I love the theme my agent built. Post-its, hidden postcards, a shutter animation! π
@learnwithmattc There is still space for creators on WordPress. It is still the only platform that will let you grow and adapt as your content does. More enterprise is great, but empowering creators should still be a high priority.
Testing @SpacefastHQ agent-native deploys...
Custom domains, built-in database, auth, storage, cron, and email?
Served on the same infrastructure as https://t.co/HL16mothSW and Tumblr.
Free/cheap, for now.
π€― This is kind of huge. It's like a super easy Vercel.
@briancoords Because your AI feels like "your" AI. It's your own agent that you collaborate with and work with day-to-day. You want to maintain continuity in your work, and you want the same for your chosen agents. Abilities API offers so much flexibility.
The sabbatical I thought I would have became something entirely different.
I wrote about the projects, the reset, and what three months away from the screen taught me: https://t.co/xwqiBL5SeQ
For five years, I imagined my sabbatical would be the most extravagant trip of our lives. Instead, I rebuilt stairs, restored windows, built furniture, and barely looked at a screen. It was exactly the reset I needed.
Thank you, @Automattic and @photomatt. This is a special gift.
WordPress post templates inherit a lot of old habits.
Social share buttons are one of them.
If the row doesnβt serve the reader, select the block, open the menu, and delete it.
23 looks good on WordPress. π
Since May 27, 2003, WordPress has been blogging, building, publishing, shipping, translating, theming, plugin-ing, and making the web a little more wonderfully weird.
Happy birthday, WordPress. π
@andrewhoyer That's amazing! Proud to say my first ever submission is in review now. I was extremely impressed with how thorough the first review was and how quick it was. Great job everyone!!!!
I had a feature idea for WordPress. Instead of filing an issue and waiting, I used Codex to build the implementation myself and submitted a PR to Gutenberg.
Product person. Not a developer.
You can do this too.
@johnturner True. Abstraction layers complicate things, but the more you use it, the better it gets. I've had really great success for a few months now, including building entire themes and sites.
