@gordic_aleksa@hubermanlab Not a lawyer but fair use and derivative don't protect you? Could you pass over the ownership to them to keep the site alive?
@janetacarr Sadly sometimes it's unavoidable if a service you're consuming isn't in your control and they have barbaric responses. I distinctly remember cutting down 20 something lines of maps/reduces/flattens into a one liner in specter. The transformation wasn't so complex as it was deep.
Search interest over time, ChatGPT (blue) vs Minecraft (red).
There's an obvious factor that might well underlie both trends (down for ChatGPT, up for Minecraft). Can you guess what it is?
As it happens, the answer matters for both the future of AI and the future of education.
* People ask LLMs to write code
* LLMs recommend imports that don't actually exist
* Attackers work out what these imports' names are, and create & upload them with malicious payloads
* People using LLM-written code then auto-add malware themselves

@Sentdex@jeremyphoward But we must understand that AMD then was between a rock and a hard place, losing in both graphics and processors. Obviously couldn't fight on both fronts and survive. Especially with nVidia then being so entrenched with cuda for 3D rendering as well.
As of immediately we are making all @lambdaisland content free! There's too much gold in there to keep it behind a paywall. Tell your friends, and go enjoy the videos! https://t.co/0vtRcGS7YH
@carljackmiller How would you call this network graph that puts more emphasis on the links rather than the nodes? Is there a blog post or a resource in which you go into more detail how you went about creating this visualization?
@bbatsov Sad state of affairs really, even with Sanderson advising the production team. I won't hold my breath too much for the show, but will probably reread the books again because of this. They do not know the song, and still we seek.
@bbatsov Exactly, there is plenty of moping and braid tugging to be cut out, books 6-8 have been a slog IIRC. However, the first book/season should be done with more care and slower pacing. The trolloc attack could've been a nice cliffhanger in EP1
@bbatsov Pacing looks extremely rushed. Like they wanted to get the characters on the road as fast as possible. Not to mention the hectic editing and music. I fear that they will try to hamfist the entirety of the first book into the first season.
