Just out!! In @NEJM - Our randomized trial in myeloma (ENDURANCE trial) shows limited duration of lenalidomide maintenance is just as good as indefinite therapy, with less side effects!!! @eaonc@theNCI
Implications are HUGE. This is a drug we spends billions on each year:
-Less side effects
-Less second cancers
-Similar overall survival
-Less cost

I wrote this in a moment I never would have chosen. A sudden pause that made me see my life clearly.
The meaning of our work is profound. This experience simply helped me see more clearly what matters most.

When people think of menswear crafted with a high-degree of workmanship, they think of places such as France, Italy, and the UK. Some may think of Japan. But few will think of India, even though some of the most incredible workmanship is happening there now. Let me show you. 🧵

President Droupadi Murmu launched India’s first home-grown gene therapy for cancer at IIT Bombay. The President said that as CAR-T cell therapy is accessible and affordable it provides a new hope for the whole of humankind. This is a praiseworthy example of academia-industry partnership, which should inspire many more similar efforts.

India’s first CAR-T cell therapy is developed through collaboration between the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay and Tata Memorial Hospital in association with industry partner ImmunoACT. So, we have two of India’s pioneering research institutes in their respective fields, joining hands with industry for a humanitarian cause.
fascinating times ahead - with routine problems taken care of, we’ll hopefully be able to devote more time to areas requiring creativity and innovation. the bar is probably going to get a lot higher for all jobs, so honing your skill sets and identifying your niche will be key
Today we're excited to introduce Devin, the first AI software engineer.
Devin is the new state-of-the-art on the SWE-Bench coding benchmark, has successfully passed practical engineering interviews from leading AI companies, and has even completed real jobs on Upwork.
Devin is an autonomous agent that solves engineering tasks through the use of its own shell, code editor, and web browser.
When evaluated on the SWE-Bench benchmark, which asks an AI to resolve GitHub issues found in real-world open-source projects, Devin correctly resolves 13.86% of the issues unassisted, far exceeding the previous state-of-the-art model performance of 1.96% unassisted and 4.80% assisted.
Check out what Devin can do in the thread below.
@airvistara @netshrink still didn't answer the question that was asked. what precisely is the correlation between serving customers on time and non-vegetarian food?

Important update of the ABC trials. With 6.9y of follow up, adjuvant AC-T had a small RFI benefit over TC, restricted to triple-negative tumors. No OS benefit by adding anthracyclines, but a major increase in leukemias (7 vs 1) & non-BC deaths (62 vs 34). https://t.co/IBeps2yjhM

The highly debated results of PALOMA2 now published on JCO: the addition of palbociclib to 1L letrozole did not improve OS in HR+ MBC. The reason for the discrepancy with ribo & abema data remains unclear. Ultimately led to a reduction in the use of palbo.
