@TfL Hi, over recent days both me and my wife are being charged what seems to be ‘double’ fares for our ordinary Zone 2 commute (which usually hits the £8.90 max). We’re being charged amounts like £16, £19 each, sometimes double charges on same day. What’s going on?! Thank you.
@joncstone The other ‘shared street’ that is borderline lethal is the insane mini one right outside the Sloane Square tube exit - it’s like it was designed to kill, with cars zooming off the square into what looks like a fully pedestrianised space
@tomhfh Indeed. And that particular area has arguably zero heritage to spoil - the riverside is mostly already modern light industry (major waste plant etc) and modern flats
#triplive can I ask why you chose to do a show in the O2 which so far has been an utter shambles of a venue? rip-off £10 cloakroom fee, total shambles of a cloakroom system, and not being allowed to consume food and drink bought in the O2 in the sodding O2
@jmudaliar@chrisboettcher9 For leg press - I would do squats racking the dumbbells on your shoulders (might be called goblet squats?); for seated row, put one knee and same side hand on the bench and do vertical back row (no idea what proper name is!)
@anon_opin Still deeply psychologically scarred from watching it age 9, and not being allowed to stay up to watch the end and so missing the big ‘reveal’ making it all the worse/scarier for poor 9-year old me!
@SoVeryBritish I actually find it mildly annoying when someone holds a door open, especially if someone does it a bit too far ahead of you so forcing you to do that annoying ‘pretend jog’ and THEN have to thank them for the overall experience. I’m perfectly capable of opening a door myself!
@Tcaffair@julianHjessop Don’t go on SVR, just switch to your current bank’s cheapest tracker and stick on that until you feel comfortable fixing again when rates have dropped (hopefully by a lot!)
@HelloFreshUK Thanks. It was easy enough to do on the website, but seems to be impossible to cancel through the app. That’s a bit naughty; it should be possible to cancel easily through the app..
@MandSBank Thanks however that doesn’t seem to work. It seems to be an infinite loop where you need to phone in regardless - it’s a bit odd as no other bank I’ve encountered requires a phone call
@MandSBank hi, I’m trying to activate my new M&S credit card however it’s impossible to get through to your phone line to request a password. Why can’t this be done online?!
