If you attend one scientific meeting next year, do not miss the joint Keystone Targeted Protein Degradation and Proximity Therapeutics, January 21-24, 2024. Promises to be a fireworks display of disease biology, chemical solutions and rising investigational agents. Bring your ideas, laptop and snowboard, to the Keystone Resort. Abstract deadline is October 26. See you there!

We present the structure of BIRC6, an essential Inhibitor of Apoptosis protein (IAP) and hybrid E2/E3 enzyme. IAPs bind & inhibit caspases, and this inhibitory action is relieved by binding of Smac.

So grateful to receive generous support from @DamonRunyon both during my postdoc and when I start my independent group❤️ Can’t wait to continue my research in engineering new proteins to study cancer biology @HMS_BCMP@DFCI_ChemBio. Lab officially opens in less than one month!!!
If you missed my talk earlier, we are doing a community call for degraders (glues/bifunctionals) to expand mapping of the degradable proteome.
You send us degrader, we return global proteomics data (for free).
If interested, please follow the link to the submission form attached
Thank you to @fischerlab1 and @df_hcc for hosting me today in their #ConnectScience series. It is inspiring to see how scientific communication continues despite this awful pandemic.
Thrilled to share that my F99/K00 grant proposal has been officially funded by @theNCI@NIH. So grateful for my mentors - Eric & Nathanael, and all collaborators and lab mates who helped and supported me along the way!
As an immunologist, I’m fortunate to have known Tony Fauci for 40 years and have the highest regard for his skill, knowledge, judgment, commitment and character. We need his leadership, and his clear-eyed assessments and advice about the COVID-19 pandemic. Lives depend on it.
The kinase inhibitor CR8 is a molecular glue degrader that selectively depletes cyclin K. CDK12 acts as a glue-induced substrate receptor. We are very excited to share our new story in collaboration with the Ebert lab @biomiko@zkozicka@gpetzold2 https://t.co/lRpTkh8JvF @nature
