@kimmonismus @haonv2 Meta's hardware isn't very compelling, any company that wanted to be first could have put out a device like Charm.
Nothing about it is specific to AI

[Eric Lott @EricBLott]

@colele_007 @damkalupa Talk with it once and give it all the credentials to all the tools your business uses? 😬
I think we're a long way from this to be honest.

Am I crazy or is saying "the software is misaligned" way less abstract than saying "the software has a bug"?

[MTS @MTSlive]

.@stevesi says AI companies are making it impossible for anyone to understand what they've done, starting with the word "aligned":

"The AI people are making it impossible for anybody to understand what they've done. They're using words like, well, the AI failed to be aligned. What it means is there was a bug in the software."

"We had bugs in spreadsheets, and we didn't sit around in a circle and pray to the gods of alignment that the spreadsheet would do math correctly."

"When Word ate your file, we didn't think that demons had taken over Word and made it do things against the will of man."

"Just because it decides based on statistics, that doesn't mean you eliminate the idea that it should do what you want it to do. It means your statistics are wrong. That's just a bug in your product."

@MTSlive @stevesi LLMs just need cameras and spreadsheets to get rid of the bugs.

[rain @rtroar]

you think you’re special because of your swe job?

Housefly coworkers was not the future I envisioned, but nothing surprises me anymore

[Supabase @supabase]

@tylertracy321 You can just tell this was built by Astra

[Eric Lott @EricBLott]

@thsottiaux Well in that case take your time.

[valo @ValtteriValo]

codex six hours into a 15 minute task

[Eric Lott @EricBLott]

@RickyLeFleur1 @WesRoth It's not just training data, Google needs to understand how to take a real company and rebuild the foundation to take advantage of AI holistically. So this is more like buying an enterprise company simulator

NEVER LET A CODEX BANKED RESET EXPIRE!
Codex can manage its own banked resets. Check daily, schedule a one-time task to reset 30 minutes before expiration, confirm it worked, then clean up the task. If anything fails, it escalates to me.

@ajambrosino The UI should just be a giant whiteboard
