I disagree. Positive habit transfer occurs when you surround yourself with people already where you want to be. I quit drinking cold turkey 6 years ago and surrounded myself with other men who lived sober lifestyles. I lost 40# by working out hard with my @F3Nation brothers.

You can't develop habits that require bigger changes and are uncomfortable.

Develop habits that are small and doable, and just reward yourself when you do that.

For instance, instead of doing cardio for 30 mins, just do it for 10 mins daily, which is sustainable in long run.
