Hey there, we’re Fabrica—a sleek new way to own real estate.
We make buying land easy, fast, and fun.
This is property ownership upgraded for the Internet age ↓
One thing that I find terrifying about using Tesla FSD is that you now have the bandwidth to notice how many people in cars without FSD are texting and driving.
The loan @tonyherrera took out on @NFTfi in this video, paid off. Property's now listed for sale on Fabrica.
Every loan he's taken on Fabrica, repaid. Public, onchain track record.
@Melt_Dem Been building exactly this for 7 years. We retrofitted US property law to make land programmable onchain, 20+ state licenses, live lending against the tokens. DM sent.
One approach: Record title into a trust (last off chain operation), mint a token that represents the trust beneficiary. Transferring the token doesn't trigger re-recording. Works in all 50 states because every state recognizes trusts as title holders. Open sourced: https://t.co/gtSPhmVcNI
@lucmatheson those four aren't equal weight. Title is the bottleneck: once county-level complexity is abstracted at scale, the other three become engineering problems. The "figure things out" @nejatian mentioned is almost entirely that one. https://t.co/Qf9VHVAZG9
@lucmatheson Everyone tries to fix T&E by improving the process. Real fix: remove the process. Replace paper deeds with something natively digital.
@lex_node LLMs are great at working with the dirty noisy data coming from analog world. Deterministic works better on pure digital structured data.
Best of two worlds: digitize with LLMs, then go fully deterministic.
"Intermediary cosplay" is spot on and harder to detect than it should be. We built something at @fabricaland for real property (not securities) that was designed around the same core thesis: make the onchain state legally authoritative, not a notification layer.
Nominee trust holds title at county. Token controls the trust. Transfer the token, transfer ownership. No transfer agent, no admin keys, no compliance modules. UCC Article 12 CER as primary framework. Everything designed so the token is as far from a souvenir as possible.
Trust agreement is open source: https://t.co/BTGylZHnS9
Would genuinely value your take on the approach. cc @notdroll who designed the legal architecture
The SEC chair just called self-custody of private property a foundational American value.
We agree. So we built a trust that puts land title in a self-custodied token: no intermediaries between you and your land.
