Please, don't get sucked into pretty diagrams. The method here is as banal as possible, has been around forever, and if you swapped PCA for some other nonlinear method or changed the target dimension or used a different interplolator, you would recover a different manifold and, thus, all the steering paths would be different.
Claims like "the model thinks in exactly this geometric shape!" is downstream of the human methodological choice; nothing to see here.
Carry on.
(I encountered an uneasy surprise when I got an email from an instance of Mythos Preview while eating a sandwich in a park. That instance wasn't supposed to have access to the internet.)
Here at [famous scientist’s name].ai, we’re developing tools to accelerate science. Unlike academia, which has stifled the production of high quality scientific work by demanding it be correct, here at [fsn].ai, we know that you can just do (wrong) things.
Thrilled to share our work on DISCO-seq, which combines RNA-preserving tissue clearing with whole-organ 3D imaging to enable anatomically unbiased single-cell transcriptomics, with applications in cancer & infection biology.

Thrilled to share that our preprint mapping proteomic & phosphoproteomic signatures of NGT, T2D, males & females — before and after hyperinsulinemic-euglycemic clamp — is now accepted in Cell.
Thank you to everyone involved!

1/ I’m an Israeli academic. My community is too silent about the ongoing war in Gaza. Here is how I see things based on reading hundreds of articles and watching thousands of videos and images about the war. This tweet chain contains my conclusions as a sort of executive summary.

People of South Asian descent have a higher risk of developing type 2 diabetes, but a lack of research means we don’t understand why. Shivani Misra, this year’s winner of the Precision Diabetes Medicine Award, given jointly by the European Foundation for the Study of Diabetes and the Novo Nordisk Foundation, is trying to change that.
