@mikeloss @MalwareTechBlog I suspect that one thing confusing people on @QW5kcmV3’s position is that he originally included PAexec, nbtscan, bitvise SSH, etc in the ~September 2019 #DailyToolDrop series. They were presented fairly at the time and predated his “OST” definition – but maybe muddied point?

@drakesarath The best thing going right now, in my opinion, is @QW5kcmV3's #DailyToolDrop hashtag. Understanding these tools, how actors use them, and the network and host indicators they generate is a high value activity.
