@RVeradonir @LarrySharpe To get more specific, #ProRep does away with gerrymandering (which is all about gaming winner-take-all's disproportionality), and #RCV can do away with primaries (it's an instant ruoff). You can get both benefits with #PRCV.

FairVote specifically supports #PRCV, whereas we will leave it up to our coalition members to decide which #ProRep method California should use, whether it be PRCV, OLPR, MMP, PR-Approval, PR-STAR, etc.
@ShubertSomer @realEvanBriggs @IbaraEleven @secondaryjess #ProRep also can work without party lists (e.g., #PRCV as in Portland, OR and Cambridge, MA as well as Ireland), and it wouldn't require an amendment, just repeal of a 1967 Federal law.
