๐๐ DURGA BHONTI DESERVES TO GO HOME.
Durga was taken from Assam and separated from her mother or herd, she should be reunited with her family and returned to a suitable protected forest habitat, where scientifically and individually feasible.
Her natural life belongs with her kind, not isolation and confinement.
๐ Please act urgently and give Durga a safe pathway home.

@KhurshidRasul This breaks my heart. Elephants grieve and bond just like us, and no calf should be torn from her mother and left in chains. Durga deserves her herd back. #SaveDurga #EndElephantCaptivity
Only 8 ๐ญ๐ญ๐ญ my heart feels like it's being ripped apart. Poor Hiralal. Poor all of the little babies ๐ญ๐ญ

The torture of elephants using bullhooks in temples is not a scary myth, it's a brutal reality. They tried to cover up the cruelty by decorating Shiva, but how can you cover up the distress of little baby Bijuli? Conscience????

Elephants are complex emotional and social beings. Sentencing them to a life of chains and confinement is inherently wrong #india @CMOTamilnadu #savedurga #saveelephantsinindia
Durga, Shiva, Hiralal, Rupsing and Bijuli. These are baby elephants which were brutally separated from their families and made to travel 3000 kms.
They donโt deserve to be chained. Free them from captivity now!

DURGA Story So Far โ PLEASE LOOK BEYOND THE PAPERWORK.
At just 5, Durga travelled ~3,000 km from Assam to Tamil Nadu in 7 days. Her ear is pierced. She could face decades of captivity.
@CTR_Nirmalkumar @RameshOffcl Hon Ministers, We heard your statement that her transfer was legal. But please investigate further:
Why were 5 elephants from individual owners transferred to TN temples around the same time?
What is the ownership history, provenance and documentation of each elephant? Who facilitated these transfers? Who benefits?
After years without such transfers, why are 5 elephants suddenly coming to TN?
Hon @CMOTamilnadu Please order a full, independent investigation before more elephants arrive.
SAVE DURGA. SAVE ALL 5.

India really sunk to the lowest depths of humanity and transported these little baby elephants out of their forest homes in the North-East state of Assam to decades-long lives of spirit-crushing shackles and concrete cages in temples in the southern state of Tamil Nadu.
I'm disgusted with Tamil Nadu and fuck the Assam forest officials for selling these baby elephants off ๐ญ I don't believe in curses but may calamity strike the temples that bought these Indian elephants and the people who sold them in the first place.
Sorry Shiva ๐ญ๐ญ and Durga. And the other three.

Poor baby shiva can barely walk because of the chains and still people believe that an animal living in temple is the safest place for them! Free the elephants from temples that's known as devotion rather than chaining them up and putting malas on them #whythechain @CMOTamilnadu
This is Rupsing. There is ambiguity around his status as a captive elephant. Therefore it is not even legal to sell or gift him to a life of enslavement, chains and confinement. These transportations should not be happening legally! #savedurga #saveindianelephants
๐ Rupsing - 13 years old elephant
His current proposed destination is a temple in Tamil Nadu. His documented history raises questions that deserve transparent answers.
๐ RUPSING - KEY FACTS
13-year-old male elephant, currently proposed for transfer to Sri Vaidyanatha Swamy Temple, Vaitheeswaran Koil, Tamil Nadu.
His microchip: 000770A96E; the same number appeared in 2019 reporting identifying an elephant named Rupsing/Rupsingh, owned by Piyal Moran.
https://t.co/xtIB0bjkT1
2019 reports questioned his provenance, stating he was reportedly caught from the wild in January 2018 and subsequently given captive status. This is historical reporting/allegation, not a court finding.
https://t.co/7PgoaRibhf
The same 2019 reporting documented a bullet injury to his left foreleg and severe lameness, and questioned how the injury occurred and how he received a fitness certificate.
https://t.co/CNtHrSGZUm
A 2026 investigation by Scroll notes that Rupsingโs current microchip reportedly matches the 2019 elephant, making verification of his complete provenance and chain of custody particularly important.
https://t.co/xtIB0bjkT1
Key question: Is todayโs Rupsing the same elephant documented in those 2019 records, and do his DNA, ownership, provenance and medical records establish a continuous lawful chain of custody?
Verify his records. Protect his welfare. Explore rehabilitation.

Look, Shiva ๐๏ธ๐๐ป๐๐ป Look at Shiva๐๐ป๐๐ป I know you are watching the condition of your beloved son, the symbol of #GanpatiBappa, and even all the Pashu in this Hindu-claimed country.
Your Ganpati is terrified, chained, and separated from his family. Oh Shiva, please open your third eye and show the Tandava to greedy and cruel humans. It doesnโt matter whether they are rich, kings, judges, politicians, or anybody else who is cruelly exploiting animals for the sake of tradition, rituals, sports, or anything else.
