This is an insanely unserious Houston Texans football team. All the talk in recent years about putting a “bull on a ring” has created a false sense of confidence in who this team actually is. The defense looks way too full of itself for what it’s accomplished. Bullshit offense led by bullshit playcalling. An unserious approach to rebuilding the OL. Didn’t add enough depth at WR. And now you’re getting beat 10-0 in the second quarter by a team that entered today with the second worst defense in NFL history through 2 weeks, allowing over 500 yards per game, while they’re missing one of their better edge rushers and their best WR on offense. At some point, stop talking about who you think you are and actually prove it on the field.

Nick Caserio spent another offseason with a bullshit approach to the offensive line, didn’t add enough depth to the WR room, and then wants to go on Texans Radio and give C.J. Stroud backhanded compliments when he plays well despite the environment around him. I can’t help but wonder how much the ongoing contract negotiations and Caserio’s own ego factor into some of this.

The Texans fall to 0-3 for the 2nd straight season under Demeco Ryans. Will Anderson Jr. forced 2 turnovers by himself along with a Reed Blankenship INT. C.J. Stroud battled behind a poor OL & offensive situation. Houston’s coaching staff has some questions to answer for this one.

How can Caserio, Ryans, Caley and Popovich continue to acquire and coach O-linemen who can’t play? How can they continue to have such a bad offensive line? I’m flabbergasted that this continues to be a perennial problem. And every year us in the media and fans buy in. It’s stupefying!
