Maybe I’m just sleeping properly these days but I feel that everything has changed since #IPCCSR15. It gives people a sense of urgency, but also a deadline, a target to work towards. I mean; ask me again on a bad day.

What worries me the most these days is the gap between the steep carbon reduction needed by 2030 as called for in #IPCCSR15 report and the carbon reduction step-by-step renovation could deliver.
Good question - step-by-step retrofit approach is suboptimal: partial & may have unintended revenge effects. May be slow to achieve zero energy/carbon. More expensive too. But it's an affordable option for home owners, unless creative, alt innovative financial solutions are found
