this patient can have a time limited trial of “advanced options” as a bridge to recovery.

@NephroGuy @NephJC_Podcast Agreed it’s an exciting pilot. the findings are interesting and speak to the importance of fluid management which nephrologists and intensivist can both play a role in. And it demonstrates that multi center non-dialytic trials in AKI are feasible and should be done. #nephcc

didnt have to stop too many gtt this past week (which was nice) and actually had to assure some that yes, a patient "needed" 160 IV furosemide BID + some intermittent diuril... to help decongest and improve kidney function...#nephcc #AKI #FST
