The writing process is a tangled and non-linear sort of experience. Authors, whether writing poetry, blogs, news articles, or books all know the feeling of when editing content, the stuff left on the editing room floor is special. Often, we as creatives might look down and wonder what to do with material that we removed from the final product, particularly if we are slicing off entire limbs, so to speak. My latest book, 'Bad War Stories', out this coming Spring of 2026 through Helion & Co, originally had an appendix chapter positioned at the end of the book. It was a deeper philosophical and sociological dive into the book content- I ended up removing that chapter. In this new Substack, I provide readers with that entire appendix in a new series that presents it with the concept of the book and certain book details. Consider it a teaser of what is coming out soon! Helion & Company Ltd Duncan Rogers https://t.co/x3gQT5BWac
