BREAKING: ARSONIST WANTED. Security footage recovered from the Great Wall (GW) Hardware verified that the fire that took place on 8/25/24 3:45am was caused by arson. The camera was damaged by the fire but the footage from its hard drive was recovered. The arsonist appeared to be a male in his 50s. It appeared that he walked briskly over to the store from the westward direction. Without hesitation, he pulled out a wind proof lighter and lit the plexiglass of the display window at the hardware store with determination. The plexiglass caught fire. He took off towards the East. Within seconds, the fire heated up the air inside the enclosure of the display window and set off an explosion that shocked nearby buildings. This explained why neighbors reported seeing fireballs coming out of the window. The explosion also caused great damages to the inventories, and endangered the residents living above.
