Today, I was proud to announce new investments of almost $30 million to improve Biscayne Bay water quality and support the long-term recovery of Florida’s Coral Reef.
These new awards follow last week’s announcement of over $112 million in grants to enhance water quality, protect freshwater springs, and fight harmful algal blooms. From Key West to Pensacola, we are committed to supporting projects that make a real impact on improving Florida’s water quality.
On #WorldWetlandsDay, we want to highlight the world’s largest wetland restoration project – restoring America’s #Everglades. The state has made historic investments in this economically & environmentally significant part of the state, & we are already seeing real results!

🎉Celebrating a New Pump Station for the Caloosahatchee (C-43) Reservoir!🎉
Another #Everglades project reaches a major milestone as we cut the ribbon on this new pump station! The station contains 4 pumps, and each can move 170,000 gallons of water a minute.
Yesterday, we met with local guides to discuss current water quality conditions, updates on water policy, and to educate on how healthy fisheries impact the economy.
Huge thank you to all the passionate guides and brands for showing massive support to the fight 🙌
Our hats stand for something much more than just a piece of gear—they represent a collective voice speaking up for the waters we love.
