Most serial killers have a history of torturing/killing animals.
Animals were their first victims.
Zoosadism is recognized by the @FBI as one of the top warning signs and predictors of future violent crimes against humans.
Why is India's law & system still sleeping on this?
Activists raised four key demands, including mandatory blood tests before any ABC surgeries
Compulsory police investigation of animal cruelty complaints is basic judicial necessity

You might’ve seen him on the subway — with a dog on his back!
Bryan Reisberg carries adoptable dogs around New York City so people can meet them right where they are. Each ride turns into an on-the-spot meet-and-greet, giving shelter dogs a chance to connect with potential adopters beyond the kennel.
On this day, the dog of the ride was Misty, a joyful pup from Best Friends Animal Society who soaked up the attention everywhere they went. Brian’s goal is simple: bring dogs into the world so the right people can find them
To all those who thnk that taking the law in one's own hands will have no consequences.
The Supreme Court has not allowed the wanton culling or ad hoc removal of dogs, and any sort of cruelty to a dog or any other animal remains a punishable offence.
Blaming systemic failures on those who cannot speak for themselves or indulging in knee-jerk reactions based on a few heartbreaking incidents will neither improve the situation nor solve the problem.
1. If you care about dogs, hold the administration responsible. Speak to your Municipal Authoritities and get them to implement ABC
2. If you care about humans, hold the administration responsible. Speak to your Municipal Authoritities and get them to implement ABC.
Do not take the law in your hands 🙏🏾🙏🏾

COMMUNITY DOGS ARE PART OF OUR COMMUNITY
India features in the list of 6 countries in the world where stray dogs are in crisis
1. India
2. Pakistan
3. Kazakhstan
4. Turkey
5. Romania
6. Morocco
CRISIS ZONES
Dogs are facing an active systemic threat through collection, confinement, culling, euthanasia policies, inadequate capacity, or major policy changes affecting large numbers of dogs.
What a shame that India is on the list.
No longer a Nation of Ahimsa.

Mickey's death has sent the entire country into shock. Because when a known, loved community dog can be beaten to death inside a gated Mumbai society, no animal is safe.

Some friendships don’t need words, just presence.
For the last 10 years, while Madhuri Behen sells vegetables under the scorching sun and through tiring days, one soul has never left her side — Liya.
She sleeps under the cart, runs around greeting strangers, waits patiently beside Madhuri, and somehow makes every long day feel lighter. No conditions, no complaints, just pure loyalty.
In a world where people come and go, Liya chose to stay. Every single day.
Wouldn’t life feel a little softer if we all had a Liya?

Feeding a single piece of food or a biscuit does not make someone truly compassionate toward community dogs or animals.
If you are genuinely compassionate about your community dogs, you should also step forward to monitor them. Follow the ABC (Animal Birth Control) rules, make proper arrangements for their water, organize sterilization drives, and vaccinate them timely. Feed them with compassion while also respecting the concerns of society. If any dog is injured or found to be aggressive, report it to the authorities and help the community avoid any unfortunate incidents. Raise your voice against cruelty without any fear. Stay updated on all helpful contacts, such as local authorities, dog catchers, animal ambulances, and free vaccination drives.
Our small inputs and a systematically compassionate approach can make a big difference in the lives of community animals and society.

Pakistan Court Beats Indian Court in Animal Welfare Order ! (MAY 2026)
Supreme Court Of India ordered euthanasia (read order) and permanent removal of Dogs from many places ... meanwhile yesterday Islamabad court (Pakistan) bars arbitrary killing of stray dogs, orders implementation of a humane, science-based population control policy focused on sterilization, vaccination and public health safeguards.
MOST IMPORTANT DIFFERENCE:
> Pakistan Court said : NGOs and animal welfare groups to play a central role in rescue, sheltering, sterilisation, and adoption.
> Where as Supreme Court Of India took money from each petitioner including NGOs and did not include animal welfare organisations in the welfare.
The Islamabad High Court banned the indiscriminate killing of stray dogs and ordered authorities to adopt a humane, science-based population control system.
⚖️ Key Highlights of Islamabad High Court order:
• No culling: Poisoning, shooting, and arbitrary killing banned.
• Euthanasia only with written certification from a qualified veterinarian.
• TNVR (Trap, Neuter, Vaccinate, Release) program to be implemented citywide.
• NGOs and animal welfare groups to play a central role in rescue, sheltering, sterilisation, and adoption.
• Transparent records required for all captured, vaccinated, sterilised, rehomed, or euthanised dogs.
• 24/7 helpline to report aggressive or rabid animals.
• Anti-rabies vaccines to be available in public health facilities.
• Comprehensive stray dog population survey ordered.
The Islamabad Court recognised animals as sentient beings deserving protection from unnecessary suffering and directed all relevant authorities to submit compliance reports within 60 days.
The municipal corporations and states in India have not been doing what they should have done for decades — Sterilsation and Vaccination.
This was missed by the Supreme Court OF India
