@aarondfrancis Also great for fun food presentation! Ask it to generate your idea with the fruit and shape, then have fun creating your own :) daughter loved it and I had fun, gonna try peppercorn pupils next time heheh

This was fun, always good to catch up with Aaron.

Excited to be speaking at DevFest today! Folks who came to my "Art of Web Defense" online workshop last week got a sneak peek of the talk I'll give today.

@1kevgriff has organized a terrific lineup of speakers so I'm going to do my best to try and deliver. Wish me luck!

[Aaron Francis @aarondfrancis]

Yesterday I tweeted @dhh and asked if we could talk about SQLite. To my surprise and delight, he said yes!

It's a fun conversation spanning SQLite, Campfire, the one-person framework, Stoicism, and their new ONCE product!

Happy Friday @OpenAIDevs needing Multi AI Agent Systems (MAS) using OpenAI's new GPT-4o Model! A small open-soruce JavaScript 🟨 library called Experts.js that unlocks Assistants as Tools along with easy Thread & Run management.

I finally pressed the button.

After months of work, the new version of Recut is out.

@RatioCoffee I’ve loved your Ratio Eight for the past four years! Will you please create Ratio X with this new ultrasonic technique? https://t.co/sc6plPaggY

ECO courses at Virginia Peninsula Community College teach students how to use GenAI tools (@MSFTCopilot ) to help them research and apply economics concepts. Please share your tickets with me and I’ll happily distribute.

For any fellow teachers, I’ve created a free self-paced course on adding GenAI to your classes: https://t.co/beKQ5aF17w

🔍 Is this risky? Most devs are great at knowing what parts of their apps are easier or harder to implement but don’t have a great sense of which are more or less of a security risk.

✏️ Embedded document editing is surprisingly risky. A good example is the UEditor JS, which was shipped with multiple Java and .NET CMS projects, had over 6k stars on GitHub, and had a vulnerability that allowed for unrestricted file uploads to the server.

🛡️Web Application Firewalls are great at helping with issues like this via “virtual patching.”

There’s no actual underlying code fix for this
There’s a clear exploit pattern
You add a firewall rule like “Block Path: /Ueditor”
You’re “virtually patched”

[Ian Taylor @iandaydreams]

@mbuckbee @alexis_bernard It’s so fun! I’m constantly asking it how to achieve functionality within the @ docs. Like “how do I make this @rails form submission insert its result into this @ trix rich text input using @ turbo and @ stimulus?” and then together we build it

#RailsWorld wasn't just a huge success for the attendees, but for the sponsors too. I got the pleasure to checkout @wafrisorg and speak with the team at length BECAUSE they were there while I probably would have ignored a pitch email. (Also, their system looks excellent!)

[Michael Buckbee @mbuckbee]

I just published our #RailsWorld2023 recap.

It's a little different from the other writeups I've seen, as it focuses more on the business side of being a developer-focused sponsor/vendor and less on the announcements and talks.

[DHH @dhh]

Still can't believe the team from @wafrisorg commissioned a custom LEGO build of my beloved Pagani Zonda HH. Without a doubt the coolest conference gift I've ever received! 😍 #RailsWorld
