We submitted an amicus brief in the case entitled #Neo4j, Inc., et al. v. Suhy, et al., Case No. 24-5538 in the Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Read the details here: https://t.co/OKxPcvvWQl
@DOGE might want to take a look at this - @neo4j’s strategy of using its own spin on open-source terms (over FSF’s interpretation) to pressure agencies into buying commercial licenses just crumbled.

After all the hype, a @neo4j IPO in 2025 now looks unlikely.
In a February 13, 2025, podcast, a top investor suggested it may actually be 2-3 years away, if they last that long.
Translated to English:
"It is quite likely that three of our current holdings will be publicly listed in two to three years. These are Neo4j, Enes Tech, and a company called Divergent. "
Original in Swedish:
"Det är väl ganska sannolikt att tre av våra nuvarande innehav kommer att vara noterade om två, tre år. Det är Nio, Enes, Tech och ett bolag som heter Divergent."

@jmsuhy@ChiefScientist@neo4j Seriously? Deeply rooted Open-Source DNA???? I suggest you learn about your company’s OSS behavior and then re-read your article. You may want to make a few edits afterwards…
If you are a government employee attending the upcoming @neo4j government summit on October 25th-26th 2023 in Arlington, VA - you should be aware that this “free” event is not open to competitors of @neo4j.
This could violate your government agency’s ethics rules relating to event attendance and free gifts.
Neo4j wrote: “GraphSummit is for customers and prospects and is not open to competitors.”
Even more disturbing is that @neo4j saw fit to use a host (Jason Z.) who made false statements to a federal agency relating to @neo4j ownership and open source usage rights.
Host (open and closing) is the same person outlined in court filing: See page 4 line 25 - page 5.

US government agencies such as @NASA should be aware of Neo4j Inc’s behavior in the federal government, which I believe could lead to Neo4j Inc’s disbarment under the FAR once everything is officially reported and investigated.
Here are a few things uncovered so far:
- Neo4j Inc misrepresented information related to @neo4j software’s foreign origination and ownership, in the context of a US Federal government procurement. This alone is very serious.
⁃When a federal agency wanted to continue using @neo4j under its open source or free license, Neo4j Inc lied about open source usage rights in an attempt to get the agency to procure an unnecessary and expensive commercial license.
⁃Neo4j Inc demonstrates anti-competitive behavior such as blocking competitors from attending government events, and more…
- The internal processes relating to federal partners / vendors registering (or claiming) deals may also be in direct violation of the FAR in the context of US Government / DOD procurements.
A good amount of this information has recently become public via https://t.co/IDu49lGecA filings.
Upcoming freedom of information act (FOIA) requests may shed more light on this behavior as well.
It’s important to hold companies like Neo4j Inc accountable for their actions.

Adoption of the @GraphFoundation fork of @neo4j is gaining traction: ONgDB - which adds EE code back into core. According to this filing - they may have lost $19M already. Legal bullying may not help them any more. See Page 17 (footer says page 9). https://t.co/n1ryQIsq9Q

If your company or agency purchased a @neo4j enterprise commercial license after being told that you could not use Neo4j Enterprise for free under its open source license, private message me. I have a feeling this goes beyond the US government. More to come....
