writing good copy sells. it's as simple as that.
way too much talked about the 10x engineer.
way too little talked about the 10x copywriter.
and i'm saying that as someone who went to computer science school.
people think code makes startups, increasingly copy does.
@mario_chavez your post is both the work flow I've been looking for and the incredible value that defines my lifelong experience with the ruby community
I'm a huge protein nerd and the impact it has on health, not obsessed with 100g daily animal on account of how difficult that actually is, looking forward to chatting at Edge City @jwmares - picture below "Pine Manor" wings, great stuff
@LumaHQ did you all change the user model ? shows my user as "jcdavison" now instead of the email i was previously logged in as, i also lost all my subscribed calendars, that is hugely annoying as I'm subscribed to things I care about...
sure maybe my error here, vary curious

@jeff_weinstein did a podcast yesterday with https://t.co/Fq1prk7TWU and numerous learning's from Stripe and @jeff_weinstein Lenny's session came up relating to power of ux, 1st order priorities
stripe id verification is an excellent example of "can we do this" vs "is the ux a blocker"
many things are possible but companies underestimate creating a UX that doesn't have mad bottlenecks causing pple to give up
@jeff_weinstein illustrated this amazingly in his lenny's interview

Pple frequently ask why i prefer a heart rate chest monitor to a wrist watch - many ways to answer but looking at this graph - accuracy tops big on my list - this clear set of inervals would be muddy on a wrist monitor
that is interesting, somewhat true
i doubt the google founders were super mean when they founded google, they were is pure awe mode, ie, can we download the entire internet - i don't think they were in move fast and be mean mode
many mean founders will fail, some ok peeps will go far
@PeterAttiaMD two questions on zone 2 from reading https://t.co/GJLCghn6r1
- the 180 estimation, is it always 180 or substitute in my max observed hr (186 climbing steep hills)
- assuming 180, my target zone 2 is 133, even on a treadmill, i can't stay perfectly at 133, is there a +/- operating band? how to manage that range
Always amazed by the thoughtful density of @FoundersPodcast - listened to session on Sam Zell while 'cardio-ing'.
Sam Zell
- do what you like
- the greatest luxury is a private jet
- i donโt look back, just forward
- would only focus on cash flow cause there is where value happens
- bought properties that others thought to be dead
- hated excessive competition, preferred monopoly or oligopoly
- would leave industry area when margin started to erode
- be comfortable with your opinion of self, other mehโฆ
- money talks, bs walks
how could I have never heard of him?
gives me confidence in my own seemingly self-destructive focus on personal independence and brutally direct feedback
@jimmyjacobson@codingscape I love the working sessions i do with my clients and team - if yours are a complete waste of time, ask yourself why you built a life that conspires to waste your most precious resource
@sleepdiplomat@etoosh I box breath + foam role before sleep, coupled w 5 hrs weekly zone 1-3 cardio, a few heavy kettlebell sessions, sleeping beary well, also tell everyone to read 'why we sleep'
