@Uber The real story is it sometimes takes a *human* to fix things, and twitter is often the only way to reach one. I'm hopeful that #AI can either solve this, or solve enough cases that it's practical to employ humans for the vanishingly small cases it can't.

@Uber Follow up: @Uber made things right, but only because I came to twitter. This means that people off twitter, likely those most vulnerable (e.g. elderly on fixed income), are more likely to receive an unfair outcome.

WFH allows you to save money on office space, and hire from cheaper cost of living areas therefore paying lower salaries. It can save taxpayer money so long as workers remain productive.

@DudeDividen None of this adds up. You say you started w/ $10k and a $50k salary, and invested 70%. That'd leave you with $15k to live on at the beginning.

Assuming 15% returns, 15% yearly raise, no taxes (very unrealistic), you end up with $775k at the end—not $1.5 mil.

Plus, as with any Go "rule", it's a suggestion; break it once you have learned idiomatic go and it truly helps clarity!

@Uber_Support DMing, but wanted to call out that "might be disappointing" is a pretty frustrating understatement for being charged for a ride I didn't take, having to take a different ride that was $10 more expensive, and having my refund refused after a clear explanation.

@AakerTabitha @DOGE Pls check your math as has been posted, I made the same mistake. It’d $2 per person not 2 mil. For easier numbers assume $330 million spent on 330 mil ppl, comes out to $1/person. Still wonder wtf it is but it’d have to be 330 TRILLION to get $1 mil per person :(

@fuzzimimikyu @ImMeme0 Actually, police in nearly all of Europe learn English commands for just that reason. Yes people here should learn English but it doesn't hurt to learn 3 basic words (freeze, drop your weapon, help) in Spanish!
