In the Ted Talk in Module 30 I found the cave parable especially interesting because it showed that the public is too ignorant to govern themselves. #i2e21
I found it very interesting that excellences are necessary in achieving a flourishing life because it gives us the mastery of our emotions and desires without this we will be a slave to our emotions #i2e21
while reading Feminism and the ethics of care by Rachel’s and Rachel’s i found the response to the Heinz dilemma very interesting, specifically the question “why is life worth more than money” because if that statement is true the pharmacist should provide the medicine #i2e21
@EthicalCole@smithjethics I agree. The intention, donating to charity, is good, but the intent of the one collecting the money is not. You cannot be held accountable is you are unaware. #i2e21
@crustygobber@EthicalCole In my opinion, quality of life is more valuable than preservation of life. If someone in a coma wants to die that is there right. #i2e21
@AnatoliiV_I2E21 I think it depends on what you mean by ties to russia, I do not think a person should be investigated solely based on their ethnicity #i2e21
problem #2 of the corporate conception is very serious as it involves discrimination against minorities. a whole group should not be targeted for the actions of few. #i2e21
@ZacharyMeo@ethicsub It wasn’t entirely Travis Scott’s fault. I have been to his concerts before and he normally encourages mosh pits as most rappers do. This situation did get out of hand but I also think that people should be aware that pits at concerts are not designed for safety. #I2E21
In my opinion it is difficult to uphold both personal liberty and national security especially during a time in which national security is compromised. #i2e21
