@Aqloe5 But you literally havenโt at all disproven the extensive research. You point to Paris and temporary housing (Airbnb), which does not at all apply here. We also have literally run a natural experiment of this kind in New York during the 70s and it was a disaster.
@Aqloe5 Why would you rely on โindependent thoughtโ when there is overwhelming evidence that rent control is awful? You are literally doing the same thing RWers do to try and dismiss climate change
@polisisti@JoshAllanTweets@Cox_A_R Is it any more compelling than what was presented above? Because that doesnโt really put Swift in a particularly good light.
@Aqloe5 I mean you literally donโt have any real evidence. Itโs just your own theories( I assume Marxist based on your disdain for traditional liberal beliefs and economics). Like thatโs not compelling while the evidence against rent control is extremely compelling.
@Aqloe5 I mean you literally dismissed the immense amount of evidence already so what new thing can I provide outside expert research thatโs both universal and thorough.
@Aqloe5 Ok so your evidence for your belief in rent control is purely vibes? Not really a way to do policy but it does match how NYC leadership does policy.
@alextrabyte@JezCorden The people purchasing the components wouldnโt be interesting in cheap/leas powerful memory. Itโs simply the fact there is so little supply( which is a failure by quite a few places) for powerful components.
@JohnRin24839097 We have a pretty extensive record for Harris, and she just point blank wasnโt a normie. Trump isnโt either, but also, I never said he was.
I think itโs pretty telling about being in a bubble if you canโt see that Harris wasnโt a normie.
@SwannMarcus89 Idk sorta seems like a collective denial about just how far left the representatives in government are swinging. Very much how a lot of GOPers acted at the beginning of the Tea Party stuff.
