The process of naturalization is extremely eye opening. There are significant barriers that prevent individuals to include the cost. There needs to be a change to the process to ensure a smoother process for those applying. #socl214

This video presented the disturbing history of suburbs in correlation with differences in race. It is very apparent where segregation is present even in today’s neighborhoods due to the differences in opportunities for different groups #socl214

Affirmative actions are a hopeful solution for people who have been discriminated against throughout history. Affirmative actions are government programs such as educational programs or employment opportunities. They work to undo or balance these historical injustices. #socl214

@EberleBrent There is many times that individuals get offended when their privilege is spoke about because of the manner it is presented. Individuals need to speak on the subject appropriately so that it is understood. It needs to be spoke about but in respectful manner.

Privilege I believe is misunderstood & individuals need to talk about it appropriately. There is far too many individuals who speak in a manner that their understanding of privilege is lost in the wind. Be respectful everyone is different! #socl214
