Today, our #FEMDialogue on the theme: "Let us build a family free of #GBV" is bringing together various CSOs in a space that creates consciousness, and promotes debate on gender equity, equality and patriarchy as a discriminatory system that hurts all. #16DaysOfActivism
The #WomenSpace was created to provide girls and women with a safe place to meet, interact, share, and learn, by building their capacities in addressing issues affecting them such as #GBV, power and #gender inequalities. #RWNEmpoweringWomen
Earlier today, we distributed hygiene materials to #WomenSpaceFacilitators in Gacaca Sector, @MusanzeDistrict. This activity, supported by @KvinnaKvinnaSWE includes provisions of a tap and wash sink, sanitary napkins, and face masks to ensure services continue at the safe spaces.
Yesterday, we equipped our #WomenSpaceFacilitators and #GirlChampions in Kabarondo, Munyiginya, Nyarugenge, and Rwaza sectors with tap and wash basins for the #womenspaces; face masks and sanitary napkins to support them during the #COVID19 pandemic.
We would like to thank our panelists and participants for making our first virtual SDG5 forum discussion a success. Great points were brought up during the conversation, that will help address our impact as CSOs towards the effects of COVID-19. #COVID19#RwandaCSOs
We celebrate #LabourDay by honouring the courageous, hardworking people who continue to make our country what it is today. We also honour the women and men, that contribute to the world without any acknowledgment (unpaid care work). Thank you for your selflessness.
