@Greenleaf_Abby@techteach_csub Hello Abby,
I think this is an awesome interactive way to show students about digital citizenship!! What app might you use to track their digital footprint? I think that students need to get a visual representation in order for them to fully understand. Thank you for sharing!!
@teacherkenyanp @techteach_csub Hello, I like the negative consequences that you pointed out! I feel that this would give the students a reason behind the βwhyβ aspect. At times students may feel as if they just have to follow rules but this explains to them why we must follow the rules. Thank you for sharing!
@techteach_csub I would create a slide show for the first day of school that had the nine elements from the article by Mike Ribble. I think that it is important for students to have a slide with examples and visuals that sets the foundation for digital citizenship #EDTE4200tc12
@teacherkenyanp @techteach_csub Hello,
I think Kahn Academy is such a great resource! As educators we can use them for mostly any subject. I love the idea of using the activities within the classroom environment. Students can learn and then use the activity as a CFU. Thanks for sharing! #EDTE4200tc11
@mperez_csub@techteach_csub Hello Melissa,
I have looked into these videos and let me say that they are awesome! SEL is a great way to get your classroom started. Topics presented in these videos may have the power to help out these students. Thank you for sharing!
@techteach_csub The most useful Kahn Academy videos are grade level math videos. I would implement these videos as a support to help out my students during a math lesson. Sometimes student need to see other methods provided by Kahn Academy in order to fully understand a concept. #EDTE4200tc11
@LauraAy77811598 @techteach_csub Hello Laura,
I also chose Google Slides this week as my favorite tool! I think that Google Slides can serve as a hub of information to support a lesson. You can link videos that can help out ELLs or visual learners. It is simple and easy to use!Thank you for sharing!
@aaronc_csub@techteach_csub Hello Aaron,
I love that idea! Never thought about using Google Sites as tool. It would be great to set up a website for a class so that all materials are organized. This would definitely help out distance learners! Thank you for sharing!
@techteach_csub One of my favorite Google tools is Google Slides. I love slides because itβs an easy tool to use. One way to use it is to use it as a hub for a lesson. I would link useful resources, videos, and information. A student will be able to go back to it whenever needed. #EDTE4200tc10
@EBillington22 One of the best activities to play in class is Blooket! Students love this and love when the teacher joins them as well. Crypohack within this game is a popular game that students love. It is a fun way to see if students grasped the material learned. Thanks for sharing!
@T_Needham4200 Hello Tabitha,
I think gamification is a great way to engage students during a lesson! I would use Blooket as an assessment tool for ELA into to gauge how much a student learned during the lesson. Students loved it and it was a great check for understanding for me!
@techteach_csub I enjoyed working on item #55 because I never knew that coding could be fun! This can be implemented into the classroom during a morning opening activity once a week. It is important to teach students activities that may spark their interest in STEM. #EDTE4200tc9
@TaamiloMalia@techteach_csub Hello Malia, I have never used GarageBand, but now I have to give it a try! ClassDojo is such a useful website as it is more than a communication tool. You can also find Social Emotional topics to share with the students. This can teach students about SEL. Thanks for sharing!
@vflores4200@techteach_csub Hello Vivian,
Twitter is such a great resource! Within twitter many educational expert post their ideas and experiences. As well many educational companies post helpful tips when using their platforms. As educators finding out tips and resources is extremely important.
@techteach_csub My favorite item that Iβve posted is creating a Google Form that will help me know my students. This was important because I realized Google Forms was easy to use and it is so much more than an assessment creator. Getting to know oneβs students is essential! #EDTE4200tc8
@HopeGonzalez25@techteach_csub Hello Hope,
I also thought that IXL is a great tool for differentiating instruction. I love that the diagnostic allows the students to have recommendations. From the recommendations students are able to work on the skills and master them. Thank you for sharing!
@techteach_csub A tool that I love using for instruction is IXL. IXL is great because students are able to do a diagnostic that shows their current level on Math or English. Then IXL presents students with recommendations to work on. As they get better their skills progress as well. #EDTE4200TC7
@T_Needham4200 Hello Tabitha,
I have never heard about EDpuzzle before. I love that it is a self-paced website as students learn at different paces. I also like that it allows for differentiation within lessons. This is a tool I will be adding to my teacher toolbox! Thank you for sharing!
@mperez_csub@techteach_csub Hello Melissa, I always overlook Google Classroom when creating rubrics. It is very simple to use, and students have easy access to it! I think creating a holistic rubric is great as you mentioned as it looks at students work as a whole. Thank you for sharing!
@Greenleaf_Abby@techteach_csub Hello,
I have never heard of TeAch-nology before. After exploring this website, I feel like it is a valuable website to keep within my teacher toolbox! Math rubrics are great to have within the classroom setting as students can see how to obtain their desired grade.
