.@ycombinator's Demo Day is 5 days away...
(and this may be one of the strongest batches yet.)
Each cycle, YC Partners work closely with breakout startups that should be on your radar.
One of those partners is @gustaf, ex-Airbnb and a former YC founder.
Over the past few months, heβs been coaching startups such as π

@cyrilbertheau@ycombinator βSchool projectβ problems usually donβt cost fleets millions in labor and downtime :)
Maintenance/cleaning is harder, but depot autonomy has to start somewhere.
Wireless charging requires fleets to completely change their infrastructure and vehicles and have perfect conditions.
@Photoncatlabs @ycombinator Inductive+pogo require changing every vehicle in every fleet, not to mention power inefficiencies and perfect charging conditions (alignment, weather). Try convincing fleets to do that.
ECU data isnβt a full picture. OBD don't capture external failure modes like tire + mech wear
@R2rule1@ycombinator By that logic, every car company would manufacture their own autonomous software, charging stations, and robotaxi depots. And OpenAI would solve every AI problem in the world. Capability != focus, we need specialization for a reason :)
Autonomous cars are only a autonomous on the road, the rest is a 24/7 manual operation. Zinny and Celine from Robodock are changing that. All-star team building the inevitable future.
