We were on a break
When were you under me?
How you doin?
Smelly cat
I've never even watched a full episode of Friends and I know those references. Can't say the same about Modern Family.
@BGatesIsaPyscho@grok I don't know what type of telescope I used, but it was a cheap one. Not hi tech, not fancy. And I absolutely could see Saturn and its rings with that 80 dollar telescope. It was awesome.
How to tell when you're not liked in your ward.
Go to the ward party. Have ONE person sit across from you. Have the bishop's wife, who has four people sitting by her call the one person that sat by you to go sit by her. But not you. And that person answers her call.
@PedagogicalMess@SpideYstow@NotYourBishop Pretty much the entire cast except Matt Meese, James Peery and Jeremy Warner have stopped practicing & put their 'faith journeys' on their Instagram accounts.
@jmillinmac To block people over something so personal that I wish hadn't been aired over X in the first place.
This past week has def made me think a little more about what I'm putting out there.
@jmillinmac It was defending the person. In her eyes, I think, defending the person meant defending the sin itself. Like you & so many others said, we have repentance for a reason. IMO- not right to get mad at people for defending a friend. Right to call out the hypocrisy. And yes, weird...
@jmillinmac@wndyW1LL0w But to be honest, I do agree w/a point she was making. Some who were upset about their friend being called a name like to throw around the word faggot & call women they don't know the exact same thing they were mad about their friend being called. Seems a bit hypocritical.
@Luke_ehM The YM & YW use it & that's it. Nor does anyone use the ward page. Had a whole meeting about it one 5th Sunday. Thought the way the bishop raved about it, activities would be on there. Nope.
My husband who makes the program doesn't even get announcements to put on it, either.
@nicoraytruth@Journey_Utah You've used that quote & had it explained to you several times in this very thread. Clearly, you don't accept those answers, and that's fine. That's your choice. But at this point, you are starting to sound like antis who throw the exact same arguments we've heard 100s of times.
@LDSBoomstick I guess that doesn't qualify as something that happened to me- but I got to hear it and it made me grateful that we get these blessings and for the men who give them.
@council_of_50@KelseaJ112 We had a meeting two months ago on a Sunday night w/3 wards. They were dissolving 1 ward completely and splitting it up between the other 2. It wasn't very long, maybe half an hour. But still- that would have been all of sacrament meeting.
@JamesPeavy20@MarshawnTL@LukeFHan I think you'll find most women agree that men who go on social media making fun of others hobbies are jerks.
Grateful for my husband who likes D&D and board games and plays w/our kids. And earns side money working at a store that hosts the games you find worthless.
@tdijon7@JamesPeavy20@MarshawnTL@LukeFHan Because he likes sports & doesn't like board games. Therefore, sports good & worthwhile. Board games bad & waste of time.
@jesse_k_fox It was my week to teach primary. To take the sacrament and set the proper example for my children. Because even though I really didn't want to, experience has taught me those are the times I really need to go.
