@joshuamorony As others have already suggested, most devs can understand the imperative approach, but only those well versed in rxjs understand the rxjs approach.
I wonder: a/ if it affects maintainability and b/ if there are performance benefit of either
Lil JavaScript Tip 🤏
Use Object.assign to create new elements in vanilla JavaScript land 🧱
const EL = Object.assign(
document.createElement('button'),
{
className: 'fab',
}
)
You may find this visually easier to comprehend and contain things 😎
For anyone who isn’t aware!

@marcelo_aizen Of course, OA journals would need to make operational cost somewhere, and it is much more affordable in privileged countries than others.
Regardless, for-profit journals charging exuberant amount is criminal.
Javascript and Swift apparently disagree about when January 1, 1 AD was. (Both numbers in milliseconds-since-1970)
JS:
-62135596800000
Swift:
-62135769600000
These two numbers are exactly 48 hours apart. Can anyone explain what’s going on here?
Neat SIGGRAPH Asia 2021 work on the “Mixbox” Kubelka-Munk pigment model. Although I wasn’t involved in the science, the reported results for Adobe Fresco are wrong since it implements a similar model for the watercolor brush (but not oil as demonstrated).
