People often ask what my biggest tip is for getting the most out of Claude Code.
These days my #1 tip is: use auto mode
Auto mode means no more permission prompts. It is the key building block for multi-clauding: start a session, then while it runs, work on another session in parallel.
It takes two (transcription factors) to tango

Huge thanks to all co-authors and the inimitable
@JD_Buenrostro for supporting this new direction - I got to think about evolution, engineering, chromatin biophysics, and modeling during the course of this project. For more, check out the preprint: https://t.co/hMVuYLDZ3Y
Excited to share a short article I wrote describing: Slide-tags - which enables spatial single-nucleus sequencing, allowing us to dive deeper into the complexity of tissue organization. Grateful for the amazing team and support from @insitubiology and @macosko! #ToolsOfTheTrade
The latest LLLM (large language of life) foundation model, with state-of-the art chronological age estimation, prediction of outcomes, and performance across different datasets and conditions
Introducing IN SITU GENOME SEQUENCING, a new technology to resolve DNA sequence🧬 and structure🔬

Thrilled to see our ExIGS tool featured! A true testament to the power of collaboration. Huge congrats to the team for their hard work! 🧬@ajaylabade31@z_chiang@CarolineComenho https://t.co/x6e5P3MfeW
T cells become exhausted and fail to control tumors in cancer patients. What if we could replicate T cell exhaustion in vitro and uncover the gene regulatory network driving exhaustion, enabling immuno-oncology drug discovery? With AstraZeneca, the Buenrostro lab addresses this gap (https://t.co/BRC1tAHaWU):
We are recruiting postdoctoral fellows in neurobiology and development to complement our group specializing in genomic technologies, epigenetics and machine learning. projects are very well funded and we are interested in co-mentorship. Please DM if interested in hearing more!
Our latest paper is out - a new method called "TIME-Seq" to measure biological age for just a few dollars. Great work Patrick Griffin! @NatureAging Free download https://t.co/mXp6hNDCuO
Can we reverse aging?
7 yrs ago, Ocampo et al. showed that partial reprogramming can ameliorate aging hallmarks. But, OSKM induction has safety limitations & no new factors have emerged since. Here, https://t.co/7ZXhqHYDAD we used 🧬 screens to find new rejuvenation factors🧵1/8
Can we shield the epigenome from age-related changes, much like how SIRT6 defends the genome? Using a CRISPRi screening approach, @XiaoTianPhD seeks to identify genes involved in maintaining epigenome stability. His new lab @sbpdiscovery is recruiting for various roles!
I am hiring multiple Postdoctoral Associates for my new lab at Sanford Burnham Prebys. We use a multidisciplinary approach (multi-omics, machine learning, long-lived species) to push the boundaries of aging research. Please see more details and apply here: https://t.co/BvZgxWoIvF
