We screen both the yeast KO and OEx libraries directly on agar arrays with image analysis! Our fluorescent data strongly correlates with synthesis in liquid medium and identifies known and new engineering routes to boost CCM synthesis!

Genetic interactions often make synbio designs unpredictable. But in rare cases, interactions can also yield good phenotypes. So why not use them in our designs? By coupling CRI-SPA to a biosensor, we screen for host-pathway interactions improving ciscis-muconic acid synthesis!🧬
