@oldstackjournal Built any bot teams yet. I have a fantastic little family that I ping X threads to and the do deeper research to find anything useful. Its a game changer.
@businessbarista When do we get the message that shadow IT is never safe. It doesn’t get a service wrap. Its never patched and it’s always missed from business continuity plans. No you don’t just let some guy in accounts start vibe coding their own empire.
@trevin This shows how fucked up AI architecture is. Even if you scope credentials the bot can go find an agent that has what they don’t. MSFT even built an MCP service for it. Humans need to stop treating Ai native infrastructure as the same space as humans occupy.
@mask_bastard@Dexerto Don’t joke I was once offered a Sun E10k for £145 these guys are chancing their arm. More importantly you couldn’t afford to put them in a DC because GB300’s are more bang for the buck. Maybe 5k a rack disposal rates 😉
@TheClubJunto Ok here's my take from 12 months trying to build a business in this. 1) The big firms are shitting themselves because if they are any good their billing collapses. 2) So are everyone else that needs price and quantity to make their money. 3) Clients cant fathom how 4 people > 100
@timecaptales There was another one from one of the medical journals that distinctly explained idiot, moron and retard. It was incredibly accurate and I was surprised to learn the correct order of impact.
@ClassicGamerTWR I think the problems have been all the libraries and bs frameworks devs continually shoe horned into what used to be simple code. I started in IT somewhere in the early 90’s we had data and an app we used Clipper. It wasn’t that hard. I see little improvement other than UX.
@pfau@nintendobenzo Well thats a lie.. the models were trained on us. So someone can be traced back to the characteristics that boil your piss. We should delve into it some more 🤣 Oh and I used — my whole career to separate constructs. So I like them.
Microsoft wants to replace 60,000 employees with AI when they can’t even get Teams to recognize that I’m still working just because I haven’t moved my fucking mouse in 3 minutes.
@Flat_BattTwitch@UK_Daniel_Card Thats all terrible design. We have duel root, with patches deployed to your inactive side then it mounts in a vm, proves boot and smoke test and then you drain the services and flip it in minutes. If you have to, you can fail back. Either way users see zero downtime.
@JasnDavid Or maybe you can tell whoever is in charge of finding your staff that they are banned from touching people already in a position. This shit really isn’t hard. Fix the problem or you are the problem.
@mardehaym I’m telling you. You don’t or rather shouldn’t pay people to teach you how to use something that you can literally just ask how to use and it will tell you!
@RidyardMike Indeed. Its called Islanding. You need to pick the circuits you want to always have available. Set up a new ground for your home and then make sure it cuts off from the grid if it drops. It should be a standard for people that buy batteries.
