@willfleming Took some colleagues out for their first Tesla and first FSD drive from Auckland CBD over the harbour bridge. Blew their mind. That was on v13. Tonight v14 arrived. Tomorrow will be fun!! 👍 Will compare notes with you!
@Nuggetsyl@JOBhakdi Don’t overthink it. He needs a Yes vote, the price is almost immaterial (to him), it’s the control of the merged entity he wants.
Don’t transfer your impatience with TSLA stock price onto Elon. You know the repricing is coming. Put yourself on Chill mode 😃👍
@TeslaNewsNZ@count3rfact5@ai_ideaworx Nice! Would be good if we could get v14.2 or v14.3 for FSD sometime soon. There are a lot of us Tesla drivers here in Auckland.
@CernBasher Some people like a bargain. Some people get put off if they feel like what they are buying is too cheap. SATS, STRC, TSLA …. All have something in common right now.
@JOBhakdi Jo - I don’t think it is going to happen in July/Aug (unlike Alex Merz) but IF SpaceX does announce a merger of equals and TSLA hasn’t yet gone up, then surely SpaceX investors should be unhappy paying such a high premium? (They don’t have voting power to oppose it of course!)
@TeslaBoomerMama@MarkFerrara12@nymbusjp@JOBhakdi@TeslaBoomerMama - You haven’t explained satisfactorily yet why it should be a merger of equals. Is it just numerical elegance, or a rational assessment of two incredibly different companies with different growth trajectories that just magically happen to be the same value?
@FollowIncentiv No one forced you to be 50% in Tesla. Stop crying. Maybe you are just not smart enough to time every buy and sell perfectly. Very few are. If you believe in Optimus and Robotaxis you should be very happy with progress to date. But sure, go chase other stocks if you want.
@TeslaBoomerMama Your thesis on a merger of equals happening imminently is only one of many possible options. Suggest checking in with @JOBhakdi for his view about a later merger of 1:2 or 1:3 TSLA:SPCX. His rationale has more logic (IMO). Would be a good debate with @herbertong umpiring.
@stevenmarkryan@aelluswamy@wholemars Imagine Optimus walking itself onto a self-driving Semi to be delivered cross-state with autonomous Cybercab doing the final miles of distribution.
Not actually that far away from a reality…
@medickinson@chelseabfinn Great! We are certainly in for a really exciting future. When AI enabled intelligent robotics can provide widespread productive labour, we should see significant increases in productivity. I’m hopeful this leads to the abundant future (as per Tony Seba in his book Stellar).
@M44_1RJ Yes - definitely too much to ask.
Why do you NEED such reassurance. Haven’t you seen enough progress across all of his companies?
Most people who sound like you are just in it to make a quick buck based on timeframes they set for themselves that were not thought through.
@theonecid@MKBHD I try this technique with my children when they ask a question they can work out for themselves: “What do you think the answer is?”
So….?
