Those who do not act to stop the genocide in Gaza are complicit in it. The @EUCouncil must finally decide to sanction Israel without further delay. This is the only thing that can bring Israeli leaders to stop committing crimes against humanity: https://t.co/TREz8CrUp5
‘Handala’ was illegally boarded by Israel military in international waters, around 40 nautical miles off the coast of Gaza.
Before interception the 21 person crew made this statement: if attacked they will join the global hunger strike for Gaza.
Call your governments now and hold them to account. Demand an end their complicity in Israel’s war crimes and genocide and an immediate release of all ‘Handala’ crew members.
SOS! The crew on 'Handala' have been kidnapped by Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF)

The Israeli genocide forces illegally intercepted and boarded the civilian vessel ‘Handala’ flying the UK flag 🇬🇧 that was bound for Gaza to deliver humanitarian aid to Palestinians. The Israelis have cut all communications from the boat. This is an act of aggression against 🇬🇧.
Western countries will never be forgiven for their role in the deliberate and mass starvation of innocent children, in front of our eyes, in the year 2025.
Genocide.
In just 48 hours, at least four children have reportedly died of starvation.
Over 100 people have died from malnutrition during this war, and 80% of them are children.
“These deaths are unconscionable - and could have been prevented. The UN-led humanitarian response must be allowed to function fully through unfettered aid access to children in need.” - @UNICEFmena's Edouard Beigbeder
We need a ceasefire and the release of the hostages. And we need it now.

A CALL TO CONSCIENCE: AN APPEAL TO THE LEADERS OF THE WORLD
The tragedy unfolding in Gaza is a test of our shared humanity. Entire families are being murdered. Children — even babies — have been killed. Others are wasting away from hunger. This appalling disregard for human life and dignity must end, for it is a violation of the most basic moral code.
Malaysia calls on all world leaders to act with urgency. Every government that believes in international law, every nation that claims to value human life, must speak with one voice.
In this regard, I urge all those with influence over Israel to find the courage to act decisively. I especially appeal to US President Donald Trump to use that influence to press for an immediate end to the killing, stop the indiscriminate bombings, and ensure that humanitarian aid reaches those in need without obstruction.
This is the hour for moral leadership. This is the time to uphold the values we claim to defend.
Malaysia stands ready to work with all nations—North and South, East and West—to bring relief to Gaza, and to restore the basic principles of humanity. Let us not be remembered as those who stood by. Let us be guided by our conscience, to answer suffering with compassion, and to pursue peace for the sake of our humanity.

.@WHO, @UNOCHA, @UNMAS and @UNDSS supported #Gaza’s Health Ministry today in organising dignified burials for the unidentified bodies on Al-Shifa Hospital premises.
The bodies were previously lying under dirt or plastic sheeting, and were given fuller burials on site or at a nearby area.
When the dead are buried properly, they can be identified later with forensic examinations, giving loved ones some consolation.
This war is a moral failure of humanity.
Happy #WorldHealthDay!

“Rafah, a city of children.”
UNICEF Spokesperson James Elder on the more than 600,000 children trapped in Rafah, with nowhere safe to go.
Children need a humanitarian ceasefire. Now.
The situation in #Gaza is disastrous.
Once again, @WHO demands a ceasefire.
Once again, we call for all hostages to be released, and for lasting peace.
MSF is horrified that Al-Shifa hospital is in ruins after a 14-day long operation by Israeli forces in and around the facility. Gaza’s largest hospital is now out of service. Given the extent of the destruction, people in the north are left with even fewer healthcare options.
Al-Shifa hospital in #Gaza this morning, following the end of the latest Israeli siege.
I repeat: hospitals must be respected and protected; they must not be used as battlefields.
Update on Al-Shifa hospital in #Gaza: @WHO and partners had to postpone a highly-complex joint mission due to delays. Three prior missions were denied. The hospital remains under siege since 18 March.
100 patients and 50 health workers are reportedly still inside the nonfunctional facility, with hostilities around it. We are extremely worried about their condition and safety.
Repeated denials have not only impeded us from reaching patients but also disrupted other crucial life-saving operations, by diverting limited resources.
We urge Israel to facilitate a safe humanitarian corridor and a better deconfliction system for WHO and partners to support patient transfers.
International humanitarian law is clear: health must not be militarized or attacked. Ceasefire!
Everyone deserves to be safe.
Every mother in Gaza.
Every child in Gaza.
Every grandparent in Gaza.
Every patient in Gaza
Every health worker in Gaza.
Every vulnerable person in Gaza.
#CeasefireNOW
.@WHO and partners deployed an international emergency medical team and evacuated a child from Kamal Adwan hospital in northern #Gaza today. The emergency medical team - the first in northern Gaza - includes one general surgeon, one emergency doctor, one orthopedic surgeon and one anesthetist.
The evacuated patient is 12 years old with cystic fibrosis and in the next few days will be transferred abroad for further treatment.
The hospital is serving 120 patients at the moment, with about 700 patients circulating daily, including those who are referred from Al-Ahli hospital.
The pressure on health workers operating without relief is unimaginable.
Hospitals must be protected, and humanitarian partners must be allowed safe, sustained access to provide health aid, food, fuel and support in restoring the facilities to their full capacity. Ceasefire NOW!
