I know nothing about Charlie Munger's UCSB plan, but it appears that he *already* funded a dorm with this design at U Michigan. The building seems to be rated 8.8/10 by residents, and that appears to be the highest rating of any campus apartments.

@jacalata @lol_you_lost @patrickc It's a popular building for students, and many grad students choose to live in standalone homes rather than student housing, so yes, this ratio makes sense
@kid_carter_08@patrickc Yep, but if you look at other reviews, they highlight the lack of windows (it's even a callout in the building highlights on the site). There are over 100 reviews of the building, and it got a great score despite those shortcomings
@lol_you_lost @patrickc The ratings methodology is pretty sound -- all of the grad students were asked to review their housing, so it isn't as if that dorm pressured them to post a review, or only the least happy students posted reviews on the site

No one’s asked to see my diploma, so I haven’t bothered finishing

@unclebobmartin What's the value in posting this? You're arguing that you shouldn't be invited to talks, because if you are uninvited you might sue or threaten to draw the audience away from the conference.
Invitation Homes sounds awful in https://t.co/7hNr85SFrP, but there should have been some random-sampling polling of Invitation Homes renters. Huge number of renters means there are guaranteed to be one-off horror stories.
@thomasjwood Looks like the betting markets have been focusing on Trump's odds of staying in office for a full term, instead of individual events -- his re-election odds have tracked at 50-60% of his odds of completing his term.
Did you catch 👀 us and our awesome co-founders @jalter, @Kazanjy in the @nytimes today? It's amazing to see the hard work of our community highlighted. Way to go @gregdale, and team! This is just the beginning. Put your skills to good use ➡️ https://t.co/4L0zbi7rIM
@ForecasterEnten Crazy jump, but could that be in response to more close votes where she is required to fall in line to get a bill passed? Looks like she toes the party line more when R is in power, and even more so when it's a close lead (51 Rs in 03/04)
@sbierb Providing housing market liquidity while exploiting information asymmetry? That is, should anyone ever sell to institutional investors, since the investor is buying only because it is a good deal (rather than standard "i want to live here/great schools/etc")?
